This song is such a bop! This song is probably the highlight of the movie, right alongside with “Love Power”. And I hope this song gets nominated for an Oscar because I want to see Maya and Amy perform this live. 🙏🏻
Fun fact: Daughter of the late R&B singer Minnie Riperton, Maya didn’t think she’d ever be able to sing like her mother did with her voice. She don’t need to! With a voice like that? She belongs on BROADWAY!!!!!
Which is funny considering her vocals in A Christmas Story Live were not good. She obviously had the potential though because she crushed it here. Goes to show that most people have potential. You just gotta tap into it. She did it and she did fantastic 🔥
The only song I loved from Disenchanted. Love power was not original song for me but I cannot deny that Idina Menzel nailed it with her voice. Badder is the best song of the movie.
What makes me appreciate this song more is that in some lyrics you can hear their voices overlap which make sense since they are competing with each other
I REALLY loved the song “perfect” from this movie. It really pulled in the Disney renaissance age princess vibes and I LOVE for it. Plus the actress can SING
This song is by far the best in the movie. The song quality in this movie isn’t as good as the original, but I think it makes up for it in story telling. Still a very good sequel!
First of all, the spinning wheel is from Sleeping Beauty, the apple is from Snow White, the rose is from Beauty and the Beast, and the blue potion is from Alice in Wonderland. The three woman in Giselle’s home are taking care of the baby as a reference to the three fairies from Sleeping Beauty. The various other potions… well lots of villains use potions. Second, “I thought that was the chipmunk!” Well yes but actually no. Evil stepmothers don’t have cute chipmunk companions they have cats (which, I guess I am destined to be a villain because I have purple hair and love cats). This could be considered a reference to Lady Tremaine and Lucifer from Cinderella. There definitely are a lot of Disney references thrown into this movie and most of them are incorporated well.
@@duckysguidetoshipping8930 please do let us know when you do. :) I would love to hear a cover of this amazing song. I would do it with my wife, but I don't really fit either of the roles that well hehe
I wonder if you are going to react to Magic of Andalasia, it’s pretty short but somehow very heartfelt. Maybe because it’s the only duet of Edward and Nancy (James Marsden was so underused in this, the audacity of them!)? I really love this song, it shows such good chemistry between them, even though it’s not even about them)
My favorite part of this has got two be the very two different pitches when their drawing out the bye in Goodbye. They intertwine with each other brilliantly
The spindle is Sleeping Beauty, the Rose is Beauty and the Beast, the poisoned apple is Snow white, and there was also a shrinking potion from Alice in Wonderland.
This song definitely top love power! The lyrics r like they r really having a competitive Conversation but in JAZZ! Love it cuz I knew u Will be disappointed in love power. Ja ja
Do you think for your next reaction video, could you please react to “Even More Enchanted” by Amy Adams? And it has her princess singing quality to it as well! 🤗 Thank you for doing this video, A-mazing!
So, here's the issue I have with this. We know from "Christmas Story Live' that Maya Rudolph isn't a singer. So either she was HEAVILY pitch corrected, or someone was uncredited for being her singing voice.
You're correct about Amy Adams singing lower in this song!!! That's her "evil" voice... I'm not really sure if I like it more than her PRINCESS voice!!! She had such ICONIC songs as Enchanted Gisele... Like "How does she know" was a STRAIGHT FUCKING BANGER!!! And the choreography was ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!!! Like there wasn't a SINGLE MISSED STEP BY ANYONE THE ENTIRE SONG!!! And that's with like what... 500 EXTRAS OR SOMETHING!!
I feel like in this movie there were of course some rough storyline plots that could be better but I do feel like Badder is defentley a good villain song vocally.
While the song isnt epic between the sequel and first film you can tell Maya and Amy had a blast with this song especially when they are dancing in their hallways. The lyrics are great for roasting someone and also comical.
If u like the fluppy and cute Giselle, pleeeeeeease react to “the wish (after the spell)” Its very princessich and classical Disney Musical and aaaaaaa lot of Great vocals, spoiler Giselle sings like Aurora and Snow white 💕💕💕
This is my favorite song from Disenchanted! I love your reactions to songs! Can we put in requests? Because I would request you do the songs from the movie "Small Foot" with Channing Tatem and Zendaya. I've seen you do a couple with Zendaya, but I would love to hear your thoughts on Channing Tatem's song from that movie. I listen to the soundtrack at least once a day sometimes more.
@@SongsFromASuitcase Jayma Mays (who played Emma Pillsburry, the counselor and Will Schuester's love interest in Glee) as one of Malvina's assistants! :D
I am so frustrated!!! I love your input on the songs when you evaluate the actual notes and the voice and some recommendations and how to hit the note, etc. I am really dissappointrd you did not do that. 😞 I much prefer a reaction like when you did Les miserables, I love those.
Giselle made a wish of a fairytale life but it want vary wrong every hour she turns evil and pipe that chipmunk is a cat Giselle is a wicked stepmother like in Cinderella
Love power is a great song but you appreciate it more within the context of the movie Also for that video you focused too much on the sound and less on the vibe Also you didn’t love the song about the power of love the irony is funny
This is the first time I disagreed with you on some thing. During the first minute and a half you said that Maya Rudolph’s voice became more bratty, but it sounded more dark and more like it was using tongue tension to get that very round sound. It definitely was not more bright and bratty, no matter how many times I replayed it. I know you’re an expert, but I have to respectfully disagree.

My two fav songs from the movie!!
Didn't happen sadly. Maybe because it is hard to get some of the words?
@@sha11235 did the movie get a theatrical release? I don't think you can be up for an Oscar without one

Did y’all hear how Maya sang “find a way”! Omg I love that part!
4:42
yes!!!!
the orchestration is absolutely mindblowing, the brass and low sax especially
The only song I loved from Disenchanted. Love power was not original song for me but I cannot deny that Idina Menzel nailed it with her voice. Badder is the best song of the movie.
agreed, the movie was pretty fun but it definitely could have been executed better. this song's great

I REALLY loved the song “perfect” from this movie. It really pulled in the Disney renaissance age princess vibes and I LOVE for it. Plus the actress can SING
Yes she's doing the princess voice the whole rest of the movie and this is the exception!
Hearing Amy Adams in the lower harmony was lowkey surprising but refreshing

Probably one of my favorite Disney villain songs. I just love them trying to one up each other. It’s so creative lol.
I love the snark and the drama of this song!! Can’t wait to perform it with my friend!! 😄
That’s so cool!!

Favorite song from this movie
The editor seems to have had so much fun with this video, I love it😂
“i’m the heart and brains and you your the bladder” badder then you” love that line

In my opinion, the best song of the movie
One of the best songs of Disney ever!
All of the songs in this movie were AMAZING! ❤❤❤❤
It’s about time maya did a musical.😊
It's actually a catchy song. I love the song Love Power.
My favorite part of this has got two be the very two different pitches when their drawing out the bye in Goodbye. They intertwine with each other brilliantly
I love this song
The spindle is Sleeping Beauty, the Rose is Beauty and the Beast, the poisoned apple is Snow white, and there was also a shrinking potion from Alice in Wonderland.
The best song of the whole movie!
The rose was beauty and the beast, apple was snow White, spindle was sleeping beauty, and drink me potion was Alice in Wonderland
It’s so good it’s so memorable and beautiful!!!
Rhyming "sleeve'll" and "evil" is pure genius
This song definitely top love power! The lyrics r like they r really having a competitive Conversation but in JAZZ! Love it cuz I knew u Will be disappointed in love power. Ja ja
When you watch the movie you will understand better and understand love power better why it was written and sang the way it was

I love that song it's a banger
I love this! I don't even know thatt Maya Rudolph can sing that well
I love this song and the movie. I think you’re gonna love it. 🤗
Poisoned apple was also in Enchanted, remember? And she does have her voice from that, if you watch the film.
So, here's the issue I have with this. We know from "Christmas Story Live' that Maya Rudolph isn't a singer. So either she was HEAVILY pitch corrected, or someone was uncredited for being her singing voice.
I like Maya's little sway she does sometimes in this song
I love your videos Audrey but I gotta say… your editor was the star for this one 😂
Agreed! This is wayy better than Love Power
You're correct about Amy Adams singing lower in this song!!! That's her "evil" voice... I'm not really sure if I like it more than her PRINCESS voice!!! I LOVE this song! It's great! I love evil!Giselle xD
If you liked this you´re gonna love "I don´t like you" from Galavant! Please react to it!
Or to any song from Galavant really
Tbh when I first heard and saw this scene -luckily in english- my jaw definately dropped.I was like:'finally something is happening'
Fun!
Yeah, the best song I think of the film.
If u like the fluppy and cute Giselle, pleeeeeeease react to “the wish (after the spell)” Its very princessich and classical Disney Musical and aaaaaaa lot of Great vocals, spoiler Giselle sings like Aurora and Snow white 💕💕💕
Do Fairytale Life (The Wish) plz!!!
7:16 I didn't even notice that
Is this the first ti e you are watching it? Or have you rehearsed your whole video speech ?
Evil Stepmom vs Evil Queen
I like how for most of the song maya is the higher voice
Первая часть это Ирония судьбы или с лёгким паром от Дисней
А вторая часть это
МАЧЕХА 👍

It's sound like a tango theme
It is the chipmunk lol
Even this movie is pretty much Meh however this song is GREAT!
I wasn't expecting Giselle is evil. I just see Giselle is staring at the clock to cause her as evil.
If you not looking at the voical in love power. The message is beautiful. I think that’s why everyone love that song
Watch the movie, it will make sense.
Already watched! Check my other videos to see the highlight
So did you find the 2 Glee characters in the movie? xD
Who's the other one?

Omg I’m the 500th like 😄😄😄 ik it doesn’t mean anything but damn it’s as famous as I’ll ever be
The line "like a smell that lingers in the air" seems to imply a fart. How come you didn't catch that?
Audrey do you know who Maya’s mom is?
Giselle made a wish of a fairytale life but it want vary wrong every hour she turns evil and pipe that chipmunk is a cat Giselle is a wicked stepmother like in Cinderella
It was the chipmunk Pip, who has been turned into a cat by Giselle. Again, you didn't know the plot before making this?
Step tap
My mind : Shut up!
oh its the chipmunk alright
honestly this is the best song in the movie lmao 😅
Enchanted had hits. Disenchanted didn't lol
love disney villians in on fairtale is better
Wasn’t a fan of the whole movie! There are some movies that don’t need a sequel and Enchanted was one of them.
Love power is a great song but you appreciate it more within the context of the movie
Also for that video you focused too much on the sound and less on the vibe
Also you didn’t love the song about the power of love the irony is funny
She seems to understand the vibe but she just make it clear that the lyrics felt lacking.
Didn't you know the plot before you made this video so you would know what was going on?
The song was bad af👑
I wonder why they are both getting into carriages.
Actually Spanish and Latin version have better singers (just professional opera singers, not only actresses)... So definitely check that versions)
