- This video shows which Barbie doll heads I have put on which articulated bodies. It was originally meant to showcase my Barbie collection, but since filming this video in December 2020, I have gotten more dolls 😅

I totally understand you. My collection never stops increasing because I'm always on the lookout for new dolls. I get new ones every month. I have attempted to record a video showcasing mine, but, you see, it's difficult. Hahahah! I would have to record an update every month. Btw, I've been obsessed with made to move bodies myself. It's such a shame that in Brazil everything is a lot more expensive than they are in the USA. Dolls usually cost five times more here. So, it's really difficult for me to rebody my entire collection. Besides, there are so many skin tones that still aren't available in Petite, Curvy and Tall barbie dolls. And that sucks because I wish my dolls were all articulated. It makes them much more interesting. It's fun to make photo story telling with them when they get mtm bodies. Also, they sould make more made to move Ken dolls with different skin tones. I mean, it's much more difficult when it comes to rebodying ken dolls. And I have a huge number of Ken dolls in my collection, almost as many as the Barbie dolls. And I wanted to rebody them all too. They should make mtm bodies for Slim and Broad Ken dolls as well. It would be awesome!
I know! Whenever new dolls come out, I can’t help myself!
It’s a shame that dolls are so expensive in Brazil!

I also really appreciated how you identified all of the MTM bodies you used, I am also in the process of giving some of my dolls more articulation and since we have a lot of the same dolls I wrote down the MTM bodies you used. Great video and I am 100% subscribing.

My adult Barbie collection story is simular to yours. I started collecting fashionista in 2017 on a whim after randomly deciding I wanted to buy a Barbie one day in the store. I have just recently started purchasing the BMR, extra, and Looks dolls. Haven't quite gotten into body swapping yet though.

Awesome! I love mtm dolls so much! it just gives a doll a new life and personality when you put them on mtm. If I could I would make mattel to release every doll they make on mtm bodies :D
Eli Nefrit, I hope Mattel would read your comment. I myself wish they would make every doll they release on mtm bodies. I'm totally obsessed with this type of body. It literally gives them life! I love making photo story telling with dolls and this type of body is perfect for this kind of play. I also wish they made made to move bodies for Slim and Broad Ken dolls too in all kinds of skin tones. Just imagine how fun it would be if that turned into reality!

Great video! Despite how much collectors criticize the current Fashionista line, this is the most diverse doll collection ever made. Between the body types, different skin tones, multitude of facesculps and hair types and style! Plus of course very unique with dolls with vitiligo and prosthetic body parts!
I am partial to 90s and early 00s dolls, because they represent the happiest times of my childhood, but I definitely love the Fashionistas too, plus there are a lot of Neysa face dolls and this face is in my top 5 ever, along with Lara, Steffie, Teen Skipper 1996*, and Superstar Barbie. I also like Summer, Mbili and Mackie facemolds, but Neysa is probably #1 or #2 for me, plus she reminds me of Natalie Portman who has one of my favorite faces irl as well!
I love the early 2000s dolls too since they were the ones I grew up with!
The Ken you named Chuck, I named Charlie! He just look like a Charles, I guess.

Do you have any made to move recommendations for fashionista #51? I'm thinking about rebodying her on a made to move doll but I don't know which one matches.
Hi, just found your channel 😊 are the Barbie Extra dolls, I have #1, made to move? I want a doll that can wear flat shoes and heels. I noticed that her ankles/ feet don't have articulation. I am new to this and would appreciate your help 😊tjsnkd
i am pretty sure as having one myself they are not made to move they just have more articulation then the basic five points

8:23 there is a articulated skipper doll the only issue is it doesnt have articulation on the feet and wrist btw the doll is the barbie dreamhouse adventure surfing skipper doll

You’re like me I’m obsessed with Articulation. I’ve got near enough all of my Disney store female dolls on made to move bodies ones that haven’t got made to move bodies are my two Elsa heads, one Anna head (purple top bodies I wait till the uk Amazon has them in stock), Mother Gothel (keep forgetting to buy her BMR1959 Wave 1 Asian), and Moana needs her body. Near enough all my Barbie dolls are on made to move bodies, all except my Twilight dolls and a few others that I haven’t got yet. Near enough all my Skipper size dolls have the Go Team Roberts Skipper bodies (one’s on the way for Teen Nikki I’m going to paint the body), and near enough all my Stacie dolls are on articulated bodies. I’m thinking of putting my descendants doll of Audrey on a Skipper body.

I know what you mean. Once the made to move bodies came out for Barbie. It was like my eyes were opened again. I stopped collecting and even sold a lot of Barbies in box. Then I kept on seeing on Pinterest these Barbies that could actually move. I thought what is this !
so by chance I accidentally got one in a goodwill box. Then that was it. Within a years time I literally had hundreds of them. However, I like the Barbies from the early 2000s more of the black label dolls so this is starting to become very expensive. Like just last week I purchased a doll that was over $50 only for her head. I must be out of my mind. But I know that I am not the only one.
Would really like to know the extra steps to rebodying a skipper onto a creatable world body if you could share.

I’m glad you’re enjoying it! I have not put her on a made to move yet, but she has the same skin tone as the BMR1959 Kira and the curvy Orange pants yoga made to move doll :)

What extra steps did you do for Stacy and skipper dolls onto create a world dolls? I'd like to make mine possible.😄
You have to cut the neck peg because it’s too long for the Stacy and Skipper heads. Also, just for Stacies, you have to shave down the insides of the neck hole, otherwise the Creatable World neck is too big

Do you mean the new curvy one or the first petite one? The petite one is difficult to match, and I haven’t found an exact match for her skin tone yet :/

She can work with the following fashionistas - 51, 76, 107, 122, 149, 159, and 177. Barbie extra 9 also works with this skin tone
