Great work! God Bless.
One of the best looking I've seen in my RUclips browsing
Just an astounding craftsmanship.
Beautiful work!
You are a professional great work 👍

So impressive.
Man you are great
Must be a master mason
Super explanation!
Amazing Work......You're a Legend.......very detailed explanations.....THANKYOU!
Bravo!
BRAVISSIMOOOOO!!!
Nice Work. Gratulations from Germany !!
It’s look great!
Thank you so much for this awesome tutorial, I'm going to try to build my own over this lockdown.
I really enjoyed watching this series of your outdoor build. Very informative. Thank you (from The UK). Looking forward to more inspiration and help. Cheers.

Thanky you for your ideas, it helps me a lot. Greetings from Czech Republic
Hello! Thank you!
תודה
Really enjoying these videos. A bit of trial and error here and there. End result is amazing. Excellent build.
Thank you!!!
Class act well done
Thank You!
Amazing work. great video. looking forward to seeing more.
Thank you!!!
Wow absolutely amazing build. One of the best I have seen on RUclips 👍. I have definitely just subscribed
Thank you!!!
Great series, with a question. When you initially cut your fire brick in half why didn’t you just cut the brick in half at the angle you needed and flip one over for the circle? What am I missing??
I would very much like to see the build for a brick barbecue grill. Thanks.
AWESOME JOB, I MIGHT HAVE TO TRY ONE AFTER I TRY BUILDING SOMETHING SMALLER SO HOPEFULLY I DON'T SCREW THE PIZZA OVEN UP. DO YOU HAVE A MATERIALS LIST , ESPECIALLY ON THE BRICK COUNT ?
Heel mooi
its every mans dream to have these skilles
Thank you!!!
Очень тщательная и добротная работа. Благодарю за возможность увидеть прекрасный образец методичного
подхода к строительству печи.
Thank you for the kind words!
I need a pizza oven like this in the back of my house
what kind of cement do you use to lay the bricks
I am looking to build something very similar, on your website you stated that it was 250 bricks to build the dome... do those 250 bricks also include the floor of the oven? (The layer of bricks you put over the vermiculite). Thanks for the tons of information I got from your videos!
I used about 250 firebricks for the floor, dome and chimney.
I've watched quite a lot of these "how to make a pizza oven" videos now. I've got too say this is the first time I've actually thought this might be pushing my skill level a bit too much lol. This is easily the best one I've seen, you've got some seriously genuine talent there. I don't suppose you could pop over to the UK and knock one of these up in my garden could you 😁
Haha! I would love to go to the UK. I didn’t have much masonry experience either I practiced by doing some smaller projects before I got involved with this one. Good luck!!! Happy Holidays!!!
Hello. Great job and nice result 👍 good luck, your oven is just perfecto 🤌 and thanks for your videos. I’ve two questions, (answers didn’t find in videos or on your website).
1) what did you use for dome - fire clay or refractory cement?
2) what proportion was cement and sand for the rendering mortar? And cement was ordinary cement, not fire clay, am I right?
Thanks and God bless you !
Thank you! 1) Refractory 2) Type S mortar premixed in a bag
Great videos, what size bricks did you use for Dome, here in Australia I can get 2” and 3” thick, 9” long x 4 1/2” wide you cut these bricks in half for dome? Cheers Mike
They were 2 inches thick 4 inches wide and 8 inches long
Hi dear plz help me I want to built indoor wood stove for kitchen with oven, but can't find material like doors ,hot.Could you plz help me where I can find ?
your oven has the appearance of being a little tall. What is the finished height and how do you feel about it now? these are really great videos. I think Im going to go mostly your way. Thanks
Thank You! My oven is 3 inches too high. Originally I had planned on using 2 inch fiber board under the oven floor. I ended up changing the plan last second, and to get the same amount of insulation, I had to use 5 inches of vermiculite concrete. In my opinion, the perfect height for the oven is when you are holding the pizza peel flat on the oven floor and the arm holding it is bent at a perfect 90 degree angle. When you have to raise your elbow or shoulder to move your pizza, it is too high.
@@ArtisanMade Oh thats even more good info....I imagine its tough to keep track of all the little details when typically these things are done slowly over time. thanks again
The build looks great! I noticed that the mortar on the chimney is darker than the dome mortar. Did you use another type?
Hi looks very good how many firebricks did you use in entire build and wits the Price of all the materials apart from the tiles you used at the end
Used about 250 firebricks. Total cost around $2500-$3000. Not including the concrete slab
I wish i had mason skills... just to fix my woodshop floor... why is it heavy equals $$$ lol... so once your finished will you have to thermo cycle the oven to make sure the mortar is fully hardened?
I need to do a series of curing fires. Each one getting progressively hotter. Hopefully I can fire it up fior the first time this weekend.
Se va a agrietar falta la junta de dilatación .por lo demás muy bonito
Great work!! But I noticed one thing I mentioned before. It looks like that if you use a door and use the door stop as designed here in the video you'll notice it looks like that if you close the door tight to the firebrick indentation the vent seems like it is outside the door/oven instead of on the inside of the oven venting the oven? Am I missing something here? I'd like to know because I am in part 3 of the build right now and I don't want to mess up. Thanks!
The chimney is only one way. Smoke goes up. The door is used as a damper and to keep in retained heat.
My man, this is the coolest part tutorial for making a pizza oven I’ve ever seen. I don’t feel like I could do it but you make me feel like I could I’m still not gonna try but I like watching it.
Lol. The magic of video editing. That was the most difficult project I ever built.
The only thing I'd have concern about is the transition to your chimney. I'd have recommended using the refractory cement for the firebrick used along the transition as the regular mortar will degrade over time from the products of combustion. Also, I didn't see you directly measure the opening for your chimney but the rectangular area appeared around 4"×8" and your chimney pipe looked to be about an 8" round. The area of Thales smaller rectangular opening would reduce the venting capacity and its more equivalent to a 6" round in area. I'm curious to know if this ended up drafting well in continued use or of you experienced any smoke staining on the facing of your oven.
No problems with venting. I will be posting cooking videos soon.
minute 9:20 - after you glue the bricks, how long does it take to remove the wooden support
A few hours and then clean the joints.
0:44 five rows of concrete blocks for your base, why that height? On forno bravo drawings they only take 4 rows...
Can I use clay bricks for the dome? Is it also good for the dome?
You must use firebricks for the dome.
What zone are you in? Are these going to see well below freezing in the winter?
Yes, it gets cold here in New York.
Good job but if you let your mud dry before tooling it won't have all the white stuff on the brick just fyi I worked for a brick Mason for a few years as a kid
Thank you for the tip!
Why is everyone building a pizza oven in the shape of a dome why not in a square shape? Does it have a certain meaning or is it just beautiful
Round ovens preform better thermally, but honestly, unless you are a restaurant, I think a vault style oven (rectangle) will cook well too, and it would be a lot easier to build

Hi, what size I chimney plate , you never end up using pipe for it anyway?
8 inches
How are you going to decorate the cinder blocks that are under the red brick arch?
I’m going to use a stone veneer. Probably this spring if the weather cooperates
0:23 So in other words you messed up with your measures, am I right?
What size is the stainless steel collar for the chimney?
Interior diameter is 8 inches. The make is Selkirk
Do you by chance have the part number for the adapter and pipe with the flue ? Also, how long is the pipe? Thanks for your help, much appreciated!!
I don’t have the part number because I bought it locally. I haven’t installed the flue yet because I’m building a roof over it this summer. Will probably be using a 6 foot long flue. The longer it is the better it will pull your smoke upward

Hola
What is the diameter of your chimney? 15 or 20 cm (7 or 9 inches...)
Check the diagrams on my website. Links in the description
@@ArtisanMade Sorry I mean the diameter of the steel pipe. Not the dimension of the flue
I was looking at dead tree as in half. Then I made concrete aquariums look like tree.. 😅
Do you help to build for money?
Sorry, I prefer to make movies.

Beautifull oven and very informative, but really, really who in their good state of mind would think this clown music is a good idea? Very irritating tune, which i had to listen to because i was interested in what you had to say! Liked the italian tine better

Dome just looks so much better !
It's all about thermodynamics!
