Despite you being a dedicated Lego fan, I appreicate that you always give a chance to other bricks brands other than Lego something which many other creators simply don't
How feasible do you think it is to take the parts list and use the instructions to build this out of actual Lego. Obviously no stickers or branding but do you think you could use the instructions to purchase the corresponding bricks in Lego and build the set?
That's a great idea. Yeah, you definitely could. The only piece that would be hard to get is transparent bricks, there are a few 2x4,2x2, etc in the set. Otherwise, you can definitely do that.
It would be awesome for Lego to release NFL/NCAA/NBA sets. I’d buy Eagles stadium, eagles mascot brickhead, WVU stadium and mountaineer mascot brickhead, Marshall university stadium and mascot brickhead, 76ers arena and mascot brickhead.
First off, thank you for highlighting these as not too many Lego builders do. I of corse love these sets and have built well over 100 of these sets. I am drawn to these for all the reasons you listed as negative. I like that these aren't lego that these have a different approach and style. Lego holds your hand I find where here it's a challenge, and that is what I look for. Full disclosure I now an affiliate with FOCO for these but that happen after building some 20 sets and posting about them. Personally Lego needs to leave sports alone, these sets are very inexpensive to what Lego would do with the license not allowing a wider market to have access to the product. Case and point the three Soccer stadiums released were not Legos' strongest selling products because of price point. In the end I enjoy hearing your thoughts and love that you gave these a Spotlight on your channel
I forgot to mention i basically told people they shouldn't gatekeep because everyone should be able to build. No matter what brand they use. Alternative brands exist for a reason. Budget shouldn't be an issue. I didnt use those words though because i definitely would understand why i got kicked out.
I got kicked out of a Facebook lego group for making a post mentioning that my 2019 collection was from dollar tree. I gave an abbreviated version of my life at that time not really going into too much detail. Long story short I had been homeless twice before I moved into that apartment. I had barely any extra money. when I did I sometimes treated myself to a few bags of make it blocks and a base for the roof. The rules said to not post about non lego but I only mentioned it. Also my autism makes it difficult sometimes to understand things. Plus my first bricks were mega blocks mini blocks because they came in pink. My mema bought me them after a therapist suggested them for hand eye coordination. So I'm not a purist. Sorry to ramble.
I'm sorry to hear about that! A lot of people are lego purists, but I think it is so important to do the hobby in a way that makes you happy. Thank you for sharing your story!
@@NewBrickerton your welcome I have had a hard life but God does stuff for a reason. I'm back with my mom again. After being raised by my grandmother most of my life. Unfortunately the state I live in doesn't have alot of funding for disability programs. Well they claim they don't at least. There is money it's just being used on other stuff. She's apart of the disability worker strike because it just doesn't get her more money it gets her clients more services. Some day programs are closing. She has been fighting for a year to get me services.
I have the Stimpy from FOCO, and while it looks pretty good, the building experience was AWFUL! As with your stadium each step was one horizontal layer of bricks from the bottom up. Sometimes you had a layer that stuck out and, since all the bricks were flat tiles, there might be nothing to attach it to. Plus it's so fragile that my wife just bumped it while cleaning the shelf and the legs have come apart from the body. Despite all that, I'm going to try and duplicate the build in Lego.
Great video! I was wondering how Micro Blocks were and now I know I don't want them 😂
Other companies may have better micro blocks, these just weren't high quality. Thanks for watching!
I got a micro brick pyramid of Giza, was suffering the opposite fate because it was hard to fit the pieces together lol
Lol I'd love to see that! It's sad when the pieces aren't as fun to put together.

That's a good idea. And you can get your own stickers or printed pieces made
Finnaly video!
Thanks for watching!! More coming soon
I’m not a fan of sports but it still looks great 👍
Thanks for watching!

That would be awesome! I want to buy the old school soccer and NBA basketball sets, they need to bring those back.
Too bad it was such a bummer to build, because the micro scale stuff looks cool. Thanks for doing the review!
Thanks for watching! I'm sure there are better micro scale builds out there!

I agree with that wholeheartedly! Some people in the LEGO community are very elitist about using other brands, but there is no problem with it!
Little brick make it more of a challenge tho , they do make bigger sets tho

There is a bigger version by the same company but it’s $80

I found another group that accepts people using non Lego so I'm better now.
That is great! It's important to find people who are accepting!
@@NewBrickerton thanks it's a woman only group too.
