Randomly clicked on this while trying to find music to listen to while making bread and chicken noodle soup. I couldn't stop dancing and twirling around my kitchen! Also couldn't help imagining myself as a medieval peasant while chopping carrots and kneading dough. Excellent playlist! I think it will also come in handy when writing those cheerful party scenes for my fantasy series :)

I do this too! I have a boring-ish life as a stay-at-home mom and life can get very mundane... I play medieval fantasy tavern music while I do chores and I let my imagination transport me to a tavern, where I'm the keeper 😁

How beautiful in a bittersweet way.
It's such a shame the modern world rarely looks like this anymore. I live in the city, been born and raised in it. And I dream of travelling to places like this. To travel from the villages to castles. To go on heroic quests and make friends along the way. The more I think about it the more sad I feel. The city is such a lonely place. Everyone focused on their work and home both in compact tall buildings, streets roaming with the drunken homeless and violence. The sense of community is long gone here. It's how i've always lived so I can't fathom peoples lives from small local towns/offgrid. Here's to hoping i'll get to, maybe even next year.

No because I feel exactly this. I wish I could live in a little quaint village with cabins and wooden homes, a community, a connection to nature and to each other that we dont get anymore, and the fact that I most likely will never experience that is soul crushing. The idea of living in a small and loving town and not having to focus and work and stress all the time is literally everything I could ever want.

As nice as it sounds, reality never matches. I used to live in a city near Los Angeles, I remember thinking exactly the same thing before my family moved when I was just starting high school. Little town in rural north idaho. Beautiful area, but there's no community here. At least not the kind you're thinking of. Just a lot of sad stories and unseen potential really

What if we are one of those who arent able to go to the palace or have friends? What if you dont have friends,adventure in the village.what if you dont get to experience the fun part and are stuck there with only no electricity,no washing machine etc,no adventure,no friends.

The title of this video got me thinking that I'd really like an open world game wherein you just play a regular person. Or rather, a regular life. No saving the world, no chasing dragons. Just you living your best life, as best you can, in some beautiful mundane fantasy world.

This is actually perfect, I always help my mom out on selling veggies, and listening to makes me feel like I'm in one of those fantasy small town selling vegetables/fruits and the passery/buyers are adventurers coming by for resources for their journey and adventures🥰❤️I even almost said to one of my customers ''safe travels''🙈

I was writing part of my book when "Where No One Goes" came on. As two of my main characters are dragons with human forms, I couldn't help but imagine them taking a flight race over a grassy meadow with to release some stress on their journey. I almost cried as it brought back so much nostalgia. Great playlist, I use this with other playlists to give me setting ideas for my book.
This is nice, It makes me imagine a happy medieval time period like in webtoons or stories where a kingdom or empire is happy and healthy with a ruler kind and true. The land is prosperous and there is peace...

But as the first verse started to be sung, I recognized it. I smiled in befuddlement. I turn to my companions, who had started to sing along.

i love these sort of medieval vibes SO MUCH, and this playlist is perfect for it. the oh hellos are my favorite artist and their songs all evoke that archaic mood. the "where no one goes" cover makes me think of how to train your dragon, my favorite movie franchise + the fictional world i would most love to live in. strawberry blond is one of my favorite mitski songs. the parting glass is such a wonderful folk song. and in general just the whole playlist is wonderful :DD

Woah, I haven't heard any irish music of any kind on these sort of playlists before, it's really cool when I do get to see proper irish though! Being that I am 100% irish myself, but I can immediatly tell that "Ni Na La" is an irish song, I'm not fluent, but I can make out the words "Siopa ( shu-pa )" and "Maidin ( Maw-gin )" which mean shop or market and morning, I just thought it was kinda cool :]

I have never felt such compelling/relatable words in my entire life.
I was sitting by a window in my school's library, dressed as the Cheshire Cat (for senior prank reasons), neglecting the open texbook and note paper on the table in front of me, looking into the distance to watch the sundown that had just begun when i found this. This playlist helped me pretend i was the child of a medieval merchant, listening to the townspeople having a festival on the streets while i studied by a second floor window, and this bit of fantasy actually helped me getting something done, so thanks.
May was skipping throughout the village, she saw the upbeat vibe it gives and went to buy some fruit for her sister from one of those cute little fruit and vegetables shop. May saw little kids playing hopscotch in the middle of the village. She joined it and they had a great time, May was on a Quest so she had to leave the village but before she said goodbye for a while she made sure to say goodbye to her mother. “Goodbye mom” May said giving her mom a big bear huge “I love you” Her mom said giving her a kiss on the forehead. May ran to the hills her Quest was just beginning! May thought of all peaceful places she would find all the battles she would face. But it was nothing compared to the love she had for her village.

As I scampered through the bustling streets, a basket of fruits and vegetables from my family's farm in hand, I nearly collided with a group of stern-faced knights. The sight of them sent shivers down my spine, and I instinctively recoiled at their imposing auras. My heart raced as I scurried to avoid getting in their way, but as fortune would have it, I managed to maintain my trajectory.
However, fate played a cruel hand as I stumbled and sent the contents of my basket sprawling onto the ground. The sudden shock and chaos caused me to miss my footing, sending me toppling onto the dirty asphalt. I cursed myself for my clumsiness as I scrambled to collect the fallen produce.
Just as I was about to get upset at the misfortune that had befallen me, one of the knights suddenly knelt down and began gathering the scattered produce. He was unlike any other knight I had ever seen. Even though he wore a uniform like his colleagues, it was clear that his attire was of an entirely different design.
His voice was smooth as velvet, yet his words were strong and commanding, like a warrior. "Are you okay?" he asked, his smile disarming and friendly.
My cheeks flushed with embarrassment as I accidentally blurted out, "You're handsome." I quickly covered my mouth with my hand, horrified at the words that had escaped from my lips. Had I truly revealed my feelings for this stranger so openly?
The knight simply smirked before rising to his full height and turning to leave. As he did, he spoke, "I apologize for any trouble we may have caused. My name is Nathaniel, and I can send one of my attendants to pay for your damages. Please do not fret."
I was frozen in shock as it slowly dawned on me that the knight before me was none other than Nathaniel Von Miller, the Crown Prince of the Beliar Empire. The realization was both exhilarating and terrifying at the same time. What would he do to me? Surely, someone who soon would become the emperor of a vast empire would not tolerate being disrespected by a lowly villager such as myself.
It was a moment of pure exhilaration and adrenaline as I pondered the possibility of getting in trouble with the most powerful man in the empire. I was at a loss for words as I watched him disappear into the crowd of people.
Because of this Playlist, my life gets at least three times better. How cheerful...

The term ‘dark age’ doesn’t really stand up to scrutiny, to be honest, depending on where and when you look, it generally wasn’t that bad compared to the rest of history. A lot of the myths about it being uniquely bad were made up in later periods.

@@inktea256 yeah relative to the background used for this video. Tho it's still the same around the world but for the aristocracy, military or higher echelons of society hmm yeah but the rest nah. Nowadays we view slavery often on Africans only but not on other parts of the world, if peasantry in Europe is bad how about those in East Asia like they were literally treated as dirty and stuff haha
