    You have taught me SO much. I thought i couldnt learn anything new as i have been gardening for over 32 years.
    Well i was totally wrong. This week i just finished 2 new beds for the winter after following your garden beds video. Let me say how absolutely easy it was...my body thanks you ❤
    I also have purchased SO many seeds and cant wait to start these with you. This flower is my gold at the end of a rainbow and i will do every step you teach because i trust your knowledge and experience ❤

    On the Pucchino lisianthus. Reflex the petals and you have a cool new look to lisianthus that adds an extra wow to bouquets . I didn’t really like them either till I started doing that with them.

    Wow are those just beautiful!! They all have their special characteristics don’t they! You make some of the prettiest arrangements I have ever seen so I can only imagine what you will do with those smaller ladies!!

    I'm growing Voyage 2 Light Apricot and Yellow from seed for the first time right now. My three-week-old seedlings are teeny but looking good. Thanks for all the tips and encouragement!

    Hi, thank you for providing inspiration for growing lissies and showing how hardy they are. I managed to grow 3 from seed to bloom this year in zone 3 (harsh weather and some mistakes with soil blocking/bumping up). What I have trouble with is finding which varieties are Group 2 which I believe is the most suitable for our climate. Johnny has a pdf, but the varities we can get in Canada are not all on it. Do you know of a more inclusive chart with blooming times? Thank you again!

    I purchased Listhianthus plants from Burbee. I am not really set up to grow from seed. I ordered Balboa Rose and Green. The Green which is really a white is quite small. The Balboa Rose is awesome. I just wish Burbee would ship my plants in April vs May.

    Hi! I love your videos so much. I love your regenerative practices and everything that you stand for. Can I ask you some questions? I want to start flower farming in Utah zone 6b. Can you tell me where you get your Lisanthus seeds from? Do you do a RUclips on growing lisianthus from seed? I’m in the same zone as you? 😅What month should I plan on germinating if my last frost date is middle of may? Can I grow in hoop houses? Anyway, all your flowers are beautiful and I love my zinnias that I grew from seed following your video. I planted them so late in the summer but they are blooming so beautifully. Thank you!

      Briana has a great video titled “how to grow lisianthus!” where she goes into loads of detail all about this! Using that video as my guide, I grew several super successful successions of lisianthus on my flower farm this year! 💚

    Where do you get the jute netting?

  • @shawnsg
    @shawnsg Месяц назад +1

    The extruded type plastic netting is a nightmare. I bought some on accident but used it anyway. I was cleaning up in the following spring and it just broke up everywhere. It seems more prone to stretching as well.
    I have some nylon, polyester or something that I've been using for sweatpeas for the last 4 years and it's still solid. I haven't taken it down once.

    Does a person have to have a flower farm business to buy a set of lisianthus plugs from farmer Bailey?

    • @shawnsg
      @shawnsg Месяц назад

      No but it's going to be really expensive.

    • @Blossomandbranch
      @Blossomandbranch  Месяц назад +1

      You need a sales tax ID to set up an account!

    • @redhairdontcare19
      @redhairdontcare19 Месяц назад

      I'm in Canada and use Jolly Farmer. A lisianthus plug is roughly 70 cents each CND for a tray of 140. They don't have minimum order restrictions so you don't need to over buy. They have lots of other options. You have to consider the cost of seeds, grow lights, heat, fertilizer, prop trays for 3 months because they take forever and are difficult to germinate. I want a sure thing and can focus on growing easier things from seed
