It took me 5 playthroughs to beat dark souls 1. 1) quit at Taurus demon (est. 15 minutes) 2) quit at Capra demon (est. 4-5 hours) 3) quit at Ornstein and Smough (est. 10-12 hours) 4) quit at 4 kings (est. 18-20 hours) 5) beat the game As someone who now has over 500 hours in it and multiple challenge runs under my belt like soul level 1 and broken straight sword only, this fact that used to upset me now just makes me proud of my ability to come back to a game that had utterly defeated my willpower, motivation, and mindset so many times.

Elden ring is incredibly easy when compared to almost any other souls like in the industry if you use the strong things. Spirit ashes and some strong spells will carry hard.
