    Awesome explanation. I'm a retired builder, trying to explain to my son how to measure interior gable wall on top floor for drywall sq footage And painting sq footage. You my friend just made it so fast and easy, Thank you brother,, Have a Blessed Day.

    6x8 = 48 6 x 8 x 0.75 = 36 not 48, correct?

    FIRST YOU MUST LEARN TO LISTEN, THEN LISTEN TO LEARN. ALL of you aren't listening to what he's saying, he's talking about SHAKES, FIGURE IT OUT, You'd need .48 squares of shakes as they overlap when applying, Wake up America. Instead of insulting him, you just made yourselves look silly.

      Not sure about that. Using HIS numbers, the total shown on the screen should be 36 not 48. Its calculating square footage. I understand we might need more for overlap, but SF for his example is not 48 its 36. try running HIS numbers and see what you get. Not jamming you, but its HIS example, which doesnt add up.
