Pretty good show by the sword. It's cool seeing them play their early stuff, as when I saw them a few months ago they were mostly playing songs from Apocryphon, though that show was MUCH better than this one. JD's vocals were pretty bad here, just listen to Winter's Wolves or bring it on home, during some parts its hard to tell if he's actually singing. He's progressed a lot as a vocalist, though he isn't nearly as metal as he used to be. The best thing about the show is the way they transition between songs, I especially like Kyle's solo during Freya, right before it turns into the led zeppelin cover. I'd love to see these guys play their heavier stuff now that they've really honed their craft, imagine them playing The White Sea on 20 foot speakers!
