Sorry, but I am a bit confused on the business logic behind the setup... how can the "Number of ads" be explained by the "Volume of sales", shouldn't the variables actually be switched around to explain the relation?

So what is the optimal amount of ads and sales? Is it the derivative of the function equalized to 0 to find the Max?

It has to be so when you are going with GRG non linear. But if you do not select multi start option, you will end up with local optimal solution rather than global optimal solution

these data 4153.2 ; -8757.9 ; R^2 = 92.26% are obtained (without using Solver) ,with only one formula
selection 5 Files + 2 Columns (in office 365 is not necessary) , paste
=LINEST(B3:B12,LN(A3:A12),,1) CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER (in office 365 is not necessary)

2007 se suru karke jitne versions h sab mein milega.

you can't rename them to A1 and A2 because those are already the names of other cells that exist in the spreadsheet
