I found this tutorial soooooo helpful.. Really helpful the way you give no nonsense instructions I feel I can try the first example..still not confident enough to do the rainbow yet I look forward to future tutorials x
Thank you so much this tutorial is Brilliant!! I have watched a few videos on how to make cake toppers and they’ve all been so confusing, but yours is fantastic, clear and to the point 💯
Thank You much!! I'm making my first topper and it went smooth after I found out what I was doing wrong. I changed the color of the layers to see the difference, and it was only doing two mats because I had the same color twice. I said omg lol but I got it. I changed to three different colors and got my three mats. Thanks again.
Hi it would help me as a beginner to have the tutorial from start (design) to cutting and as you showed sticking it together (finish), as much detail as possible. Thank you for sharing i have learned from your videos. So much to learn about cricut.
Newbie here! I want to make my birthday cake topper, with flowers and butterflies. would I use the same process as the rainbow one? This is by far the best tutorial I have watched thus far.
I do plan to get into shaker cake topper tutorials soon and I'm super excited about these! I will have to add a princess one as well, thanks so much for the recommendation!
Hi Diane! I used fonts that were already on my computer, they weren’t Cricut fonts. You can find a lot of cute free fonts for personal use at dafont.com
What if u dont have a machine could u take the imagine on a flash drive to a store to get them to do it ? If so what store would u recommend fedex staples ?😊
Hi! If you don't have a Cricut, you can also print out the design and cut them with scissors. Not sure that other stores have cutting machines that could do this for you.
Do you use the "eye" thingys to turn off layers and then cut individually or can you move everything on a different location on the mat and cut all at once?
If you want to cut multiple colors on the same mat, just move them where you need them during the mat preview. If there is a layer that you don't want to cut, then you can use the "eye" to hide that layer and it won't cut.
Hi Mei Yee! This is a font that I already had on my computer. You can download fonts for free to use for personal use. DaFont and 1001 Free Fonts are both great sites to search. If you want to use your own fonts in design space, click on "System" when in the fonts and this will filter it so it just shows your fonts. You won't have to pay to use your own fonts.
Ive seen another video, to attach the dot on the i, they used a skinny little rectangle and put it in the space. You can barely see it but it attaches the dot ! I think that way is better so the dot is still above .
Hi, I found this very, very helpful…. I thought I used a heavy duty glitter card stock on poster board setting with more pressure, but when I tried to get it off my mat, it had not cut all the way through and the paper was separating as I was getting it apart… any idea why this is happening?
You may have to try different cut settings. If your blade is newer, you may not need to cut it on as high of a setting. You could also try the custom setting for heavy cardstock.
Hi, can you tell me please what is this program” canvas “ is application I can find the laptop or computer ? How I start to create a topper ? Please tell me, what is this canvas? What program is this?
Hi Malena! Since paw patrol is trademarked, you won’t likely find anything out there and will have to create your own. You can search for images to use as a print then cut feature if this is for personal use.
Hi Gloria! You cut the offset letters just as you would the rest of the letters or cake toppers. I showed the process of cutting with the first cake topper. Since the process is the same for all of them, I only showed it that time.
I hope u continue to do more video tutorial cuz I'm more of a visual and this video helped me better understand how to layer..
Keep creating. We love your videos
Thank you ☺️

Hi should the font your are using already in design space? or do you have to purchase? I don't fine it in my design space.

What font did you use for the 40 & fabulous
Hi! The font is hello valentica.
What can we make in the Joy, anything?
Ive seen another video, to attach the dot on the i, they used a skinny little rectangle and put it in the space. You can barely see it but it attaches the dot ! I think that way is better so the dot is still above .
That’s a great idea to do that!

What's the best machine to purchase for cake toppers?
I use the Cricut Explore, but the Cricut Maker will work just as well.
I’m trying to find the link for that rainbow with the cloud I can’t seem to find it. Can you help me out?
Hi Tiffany! You can find that link here: svgnation.com/rainbow-svg/
Hi, can you tell me please what is this program” canvas “ is application I can find the laptop or computer ? How I start to create a topper ? Please tell me, what is this canvas? What program is this?
Hi! I am using Cricut Design Space for this tutorial.
What glue do you use?
I use the Bearly Art Craft Glue from Amazon here: amzn.to/3CbLcKB
Hi! New to cricut wondering how can I make a paw patrol cake topper. Thanks?
Hi Malena! Since paw patrol is trademarked, you won’t likely find anything out there and will have to create your own. You can search for images to use as a print then cut feature if this is for personal use.
Hi great tutorial! I can’t find the font u used
I used fonts that were on my computer, not Cricut fonts. You can find tons of free fonts at dafont.com to use.
How do you do that
Hi Brianna! You can view the detailed tutorial here svgnation.com/how-to-make-cake-toppers-with-cricut/
It would've been nice if you would've showed how to cut the offset letters.
Hi Gloria! You cut the offset letters just as you would the rest of the letters or cake toppers. I showed the process of cutting with the first cake topper. Since the process is the same for all of them, I only showed it that time.
Are you using cardstock?
Hi Yolanda! Yes, I am using cardstock. If you look in the video description, you will find links for the different cardstock I use.
can somebody please point me in the right direction on where to find this rainbow so i can make this cake topper, thank you
Here it is ☺️ svgnation.com/rainbow-svg/
