The emergency call from the woman in Salcome tickles me, you Brits are so cool, calm and collected- sis just found a headless body on a street that looks like the landscape of how every one of my nightmares starts. I would have picked up the phone and Lord bless em if they would have been able to understand my squaking.
I'm from Scotland and I've got to say I was actually thinking the same as you, I literally said to myself "bloody hell she's calm for finding a dead body, I'd have been freaking out" lol damn shame though, all for the sake of greed
She might have been in the medical field where we are trained to always keep calm when speaking. Loved the statement with southern English accent.
She didn't see it was headless at first. She thought some poor woman had taken a bad fall.
@@truenokill oh for sure but damn, that's still impressive because it's one thing to expect it on the job but another to find this horrible crime when out for a walk. It's good she was calm and clear though, it helps the dispatcher a lot
I was also impressed by that. I'm British but in the same situation, people in Australia would've heard me screaming!
The woman who found the body is calmer during the emergency call than I am before a call with my boss-
Meditate..
I thought so too. In America that would appear "suspicious " 😃🇮🇲
Keep calm and carry on
was just gonna say , she sounds so cheery and casual like ordering a pizza.

That just hit me out of nowhere too! But hilarious!
Imagine having your door smashed in by police in the middle of the night, being cuffed and told you're under arrest for murder and your reaction amounts to little more than "oooh...okay...can i put my shoes on?"
How else would you react? What is the point in freaking out or reacting in any other way than that?
It's wild how they go from trying to break down the door, to the most polite exchange during an arrest.
@@Raoul.Because if you were innocent, you’d be totally shocked and confused
@@SW-kr9fl don't forget that everyone has different reactions. I don't think that every innocent person would necessary be shocked and confused. Furthermore, having this reaction does not necessarily mean that the person is innocent.
I don't have paranoid schizophrenia, but I do have something called schizophrenic affective disorder. Long story short, the voices in my head and the occasional visual hallucination I have are something I know and understand to be not real. They're like imaginary friends I created out of loneliness as a kid who have never really left me. I'm super simplifying things here because there's more to it than that but that's not my point. Schizophrenic disorders are awful, and in general are horribly misunderstood by many people. Please, I beg of all of you, be kinder to each other out there. You never truly know and appreciate what seone else might be going through unless you really know them. Thanks for another excellent video! I appreciate the way you handle things for the victis and their families and friends.❤️

One of my favourite things about this channel is that he doesn’t give attention to the murderes but instead the victims making the story about them. Respect ❤️
The victims are not as interesting though since they are normal people. Murderers are anything but normal and are therefore more interesting.

@@michaelkjellander9370 Yeah I can see that but it seems lots of true crime RUclipsrs plaster the killer's name or the name of the crime as a way to generate interest. At that point, it seems scummy to me. Like they don't really care about the victims and just used their situation to profit off of.
@@visassess8607 Yes, it is in bad taste, but it works and Coffeehouse isn't really an exception in that regard. I've been ashamed for liking true crime so much, but what's most interesting about true crime for me is the police investigations. Finding the culprit and securing evidence.

Worst part of this is how a complete absolute hellish monster like Gemma, could present herself like a normal regular human being. People are scary. RIP Deborah.
The thing is.. it was a human. Humans are capable of vile things as prove that humans can be monsters time and time again. It’s an unfortunate, undeniable truth that people need to realize.
if you are gonna do a murder, you're gonna have a plan to get away with it!
I think she had 2 suitcases and hired a car that mirrored a car she had access to!
police should check for her finger prints on the back side of the number plates of the hired car
The worst part is that Brits can't tell the difference between "life imprisonment" and "34 years." Yeah I know she "might not get out" but why not just make a decisions? It's either final or it's not. If there is no reasonable doubt then why should the judge have doubts about the sentence? It's not like anything she does in prison matters.
She is a sociopath.
But look at the kind of person that she chose to warm up to?!? She probably used the whole living with her elderly mother to play on her emotions (being that she was an elderly woman......that wasn't around or living with family). She probably also made it her business to find out all that she could about her, in order to present herself like some knight in shining armour (hence why she was pretending to heal her). I can't stand low lives that come with pretenses to people that they either know things about/believe they know things about them or believe that they know who they are by sizing them up. Unfortunately, that elderly woman had opened up herself to her and allowed a degenerate to get way too close. To the point that she believed that she could take whatever she desired from her. Alot of folk don't realize that guilt isn't some random "emotion" that happens when you know that you are wrong, being that you've aimed to harm someone. It's more or less a reminder that they're not the only one aware of what they've done. That woman's deadly experience needs to haunt her every morning that she rises. Every thing that she did to inflict pain and remove breath from that woman's Life, needs to stay on repeat.
I’m very amazed at how much Gemma was caught on surveillance and she didn’t give a small thought about it. Also when they arrested her at her home for possible murder, she wasn’t even phased or shocked.
Sad and pathetic to ruin a life and kill somebody all for what money . And debroah even told her to enjoy her life it's short :( poor girl

Not the first case documented by CCTVs.
People don't think about them...
I THOUGHT I heard he say "What?" as they told her why she was being arrested. Weather she did or did not say "what" I agree with everyone here. Her surprise was very short lived and she obviously became aware of her situation very quickly. If I did heat "what" it probably came from "what? How? I covered my tracks so well!" Ahhh no you didn't.
She honestly could have sold that house, found a nice two bedroom flat for herself and mom, gone back to school for a career change and started her life over. Was she that attached to her old house? So sad
Hello Sandra, how are you doing today, hope you’re fine and safe from the Virus??
Study for open a businnes will be a much better start move.
Considering the fact that ppl work all their life to buy a house. She probably didn't want to go through the trouble if she had already bought it in cash. Maybe she thought no one was going to question her since she is privileged.
It's difficult moving from a house to a flat. You also hafta have somewhere to live as soon as the house sells. If she didn't have money then she would need rent security before the house sold... It ain't that easy but still nothing to kill over
I cannot help but think that something happened in Australia like being found to have committed professional misconduct which barred her from continuing in her profession , hence she went back to the UK.
London is so stacked with cameras that are also high quality its insane, you can literally track a persons exact moves no matter where they go. Very impressive but also very dystopian and scary if it were to be exploited for the wrong reasons
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I do believe that the popo can just scan your car plates if you have a valid insurance, otherwise they’d boot and impound it.
@jpman2173 ANPR, not for insurance (in usa) but can be used to scan for missing people or stolen cars, and also in database for a while
Agreed, and most definitely it is, and will continue to be in the wrong hands. There's going to be a creep of even more surveillance and digital measures for control the movement and choices of the population. Only have to look at the concept of 15 minute cities they are implementing in Oxford to see.
If you have committed no crime what is the issue .CCTV/ Smartphones and DNA are the three biggest tools in helping track the evil scum ...

Jemma is a total piece of work. This actually a first murder case in UK that has a reasonable sentence. Most seem appallingly lenient. RIP Debra.
Agreed!
I mean, if convicted of murder over here in the UK then it's a mandatory life sentence. Like the courts literally cannot give *_any_* other sentence as a result.
(Granted the minimum time to be served can be as little as 15 years before being considered for parole so "life imprisonment" doesn't necessarily mean life but considering places like Japan have a minimum sentence of as little as 5 years then it's "strict" by comparison...)

Deborah really was logical is advising that Gemma sell the house. Her life did ‘t need to end for laying out the truth. The description of the house really raised red flags. Sure renovations were needed but all the broken furniture and trash didn’t need any money to clear out. Do it over time with the regular trash collections. Adrian, I nearly choked on my tea when you said she was always a fecking snake! So unexpected I had to laugh. Thanks for your always well researched and sensitive storytelling.
hahaha, same, i did a double take.
😅😅 yeah... Didn't know I was going to hear that.
This is so British hahaha Love it
😀 I was also not expecting that
As a Malaysian, this case was new to me.
Thanks Adrian for covering this. 🥰
Thank you for the details ,I could only find it on this channel..
I just love your brutally direct descriptions of the character traits of these viperous criminals.
🎯💯
Your "fucking snake" at the end totally caught me off guard Lol but was really just the perfect description of Gemma..so entitled to something she had no right to be..im so glad she was also incredibly stupid too putting herself all over CCTV
Deborah was beautiful and vulnerable and in no way deserved to be caught up with this vile woman..thank you for covering this Adrian 💜
This channel gets me through my work day. I love it and I hope you will continue to keep making videos and being who you are. Just wanted to say that
just found this fella a week ago. been binging all kinds of his stuff at my biz while i wait on customers!!
The raid and arrest is the most british thing I've ever seen. I aim to be this level of calm in any stressful situation!
i guess thats what happens without guns in everyone's face idk
Poor Deborah, this story was heart breaking. RIP!!! ❤️
The miniscule piece of solace was in thinking about Jemma's imprisonment.
I recently found your wonderful podcast. Keep up the good work. I subscribed immediately after I watched the first episode.
Just so sad !
Thank you for sharing
Thank you Adrian. I watch a lot of crime documentaries and this is by far the best. Every episode you post just keeps getting better!
One of the most frustrating and difficult symptoms of active psychosis is the lack of insight and recognition of one’s own illness.
Really enjoy your content and they way you tell it, thank you.
No cap Adrian, you’ve saved my life this year, thank you bro. Much love,
It's so interesting to me how Gemma felt so entitled to money that she was not at all owed from someone who trusted her dearly that she killed her and then treated her body so poorly. Like that's crazy to me, who are you to think you deserve that money? There was no reason Deborah had to give you that money, literally none, she was just making an offer as a friend which she rightfully changed her mind on. Gemma should've done what Deborah had suggested and sold the piece of junk house and downgraded to something a more quaint and less run down.
The entitlement and denial this woman has scares me, honest.
Just because someone is well to do does not mean that they must donate all their funds. It’s kind of they do. But you can not murder and rob someone. That is so so entitled like you said. I’m so dissappointed in humanity. Especially someone who seems like a regular normal
Upstanding citizen. Who can we trust?
ppl like that piss me off 😒 🤬
She was definitely a heartless human being
Narcissism at its finest
Social justice warriors be like
Congrats on your success. Your presentations just get better and better as do the cases you present. Great job.

This was only on the news last week! Amazing how quickly you covered this case.
Brilliant short video.. Excellent. Thanks for the video for long time. Keep up with more interesting case like this too. 😊👍🏻🥰🙋♂️
Thanks for sharing this story. Very sad
Very well made material. The stories are heartbreaking, but you tell them in such a respectful manner. I love all the research you do and even how well you pronounce people’s names and cities etc. Keep up the great work!
"And as it turns out, she's always been a fucking snake" I'm sorry, but that made me nearly spit out my coffee xD
I LOL'd at that too 😂
LITERALLY got me cracking up at work
Lmaoooooo
On that note, Sir... please don't swear like that. You have a really, really nice channel with over a million subscribers spanning the full spectrum. You don't want to throw it all away because of bad language.
Otherwise, your channel is tops and I wish you all the very best.
@@friendlypiranha774 He's talking about people being murdered 😒 the cuss words aren't worse than that ffs.
To be honest, this channel was a random click for me almost a year ago and since then I've been hooked... This lad is sincere, honest, empathetic and he's a fantastic storyteller!!!
I have honestly become a huge fan
,I watch as many episodes as I can and I honestly do hope he has a positive outlet for dealing with so much negativity...if you ever need an ear my friend, your Coffee is on Me, Cheers!!!!
This was brilliant I’ve subbed since you first started a few years ago. You are doing so well 💯

Thank you for always making such great content with some serious research! As a viewer I can tell you put tons of time into what you do and it makes watching your channel a pleasure!
Superb video, very well done
I love it when you get so disgusted that you speak your mind and let us know how you REALLY feel. It’s nice to see that kind of honesty and I agree with you 100%. As always, another great video. My only complaint is that they aren’t longer.
The closing statement had me laughing out loud, good job
Come from work, make food and Adrian uploads a video. Day doesn’t get any better
Wow. Sad and grisly story. Thank you for posting.
