The new Pulse Fuse system is really a great addition! Common new player complaints about fighting games are the fact that the skill floor may be a bit high and people just wanna have fun while doing cool combos, so this would be perfect. At the same time, choosing this fuse means that you won't be able to choose the other (harder and probably stronger) fuses which is definitely disadvantageous especially for high level players, so it's basically the best of both worlds!
I agree. Choosing Pulse Fuse means you have an easy time getting used to the game, but the other Fuses being stronger would be a good incentive to have people learn to play without it once they're used to the game
It's also great because it doesn't force auto combo on players, but still makes it available for new players. In fact it makes it so that the auto combo is essentially purely for new players learning the game as it uses your fuse in order to activate it, and more veteran players will obviously want to use some other fuse.
As an experienced player, Im REALLY curious to see how effective it is at showing you the ropes with a character. As mentioned, you usually watch a video to see a character's bnb. But if pulse can actually help you skip that aspect of learning combos, then this would actually be pretty neat. I've tried auto combos in other games, but I just feel like theyre more of a crutch.

Having autocombos but making them an optional thing for beginners is actually really awesome and helps out new players a ton, glad to see something like that likely inspired from Dragonball FighterZ which I think had a great spot for a skill floor while still having an expansive skill ceiling
It's horrible. Tekken 8, street fighter 6 did it, too. These franchises dumb down their games for unskilled individuals who refuse to "get good" just so they can sell more games and make more profit. It's disgusting. Being "good" at fighting games actually used to mean something.

The reason why Modern Controls in SF6 is horrible design is because it lets you do reactable reversals with the press of a single button, making it objectively better. This mechanic does not give you any advantage, on the opposite, it takes the slot of another fuse, making it a straight downgrade. If you're losing to someone that's using that fuse its straight up a skill issue. --- Also you're saying all that shit as if some of the OG FGC players that completed in the most degen execution-barrier games aren't all saying that this game got a lot of sauce with a surprisingly very high skill ceiling and player expression.

Cool take on an autocombo system. Feels a bit like DBFZ in the sense that it doesn't lock you into the string, so you can build upon it and learn over time. It's a shame the SSJ Vegeta assist is apparently gone from Ahri, I hope the new one is as good for lockdown and mix.
Something to play around with, you could make a fuse that every time you tag, the two life bars balance giving the higher to the lower to be equal again.
This is an entire different genre of game I doubt people who play league would play this seriously. Hopefully the competitive scene for 2xko is good so there’s a grind

People appreciate being able to make rooms/lobbies with their friends so they can have sets together. In a room, features like being able to adjust how many sets, whether it's first to 5 or unlimited matches. It would be very convenient to be able to set your team before hand so you don't need to always manually select each character everytime, but sometimes you might actually want to try a new character, so when an online match starts and you go into character select, perhaps a menu should pop up first, asking if you want to select a default team or not. I think these would contribute to a fun and good game experience.
Replay system Tournament mode Spectator mode in lobbies. Leader board Arcade / endless mode. Character story to give some attachment to characters for people who aren't familiar with Runeterra.
Having an auto combo feature as a fuse is perfect, great for beginners to get in but also incentivising them to improve and eventually take that next step like you guys said is great.

Tahm Kench Grappler. He is so perfect for it and he would be so interesting. Also he would have the funniest standing stubby kick, and his movement could be so interesting. You guys do such amazing work and I’m on my hands and knees.

The hidden implication that we'll be getting a 6th character reveal at EVO, but that there are still so many characters in the works behind the scene... THIS GAME IS GOING TO BE SO AWESOME!!!

Honestly the new fuse sounds like a good idea. Great for newer people and to learn a character though hands on experience. Of course like most I assume the drawback is they're optimized which is good honestly. Also the fact they take your fuse slot

I'd recommend an alpha/beta that's aimed at the current lol fan base. These videos will reach the fgc, but I think seeing early reactions from the moba players could be really important. I'm not sure how to incentive one genre of players to pick up an alpha from a different genre though
I like the new animations. There are A LOT but not everyone can see that. Finally we have some in game facial expressions. Not much mouth movements but still, it's nice to see. Ahri looks so charming. I wish character select screen is a little bit more animated. It already has a few but, i wish it had ''special intros/interactions''.
Autocombos with a cost is a great idea. It makes it so you're kind of forced to transition at higher level play. You'd have less if you used pulse at high level when everyone else is running another thing. Great call.
Very excited to try the game out. It will be my first time in a tag fighter. So far it looks very overwhelming, so I’m hopeful I can get my hands on it to try it out myself. I am a bit worried things like the delayed handshake tag will make defense a nightmare once things are optimized. We shall see!
