Mystery Dungeon 2/Explorers taught as an important lesson about tampering with time and space in the Pokémon universe, even if it’s a spin-off. If you are sent to another time or another world- even if it was through plain bad luck- there’s no going back. Not without the aid of a miracle- not without something that can control that aspect of reality having mercy on you. Ingo is stranded in the past. Your own character is stranded in the past- and possibly in a world not like their own. Dialga will not fix this. Palkia will not fix this. The only respite for these people “stranded” in a place and time unfamiliar to them is that people are kind enough to take them in and let them live a life. Maybe not their own life- maybe not the life they thought they’d have until the day they die- but they get to live. (Just pretend Rainbow Rocket did not happen. Ok basically in Pokemon Legends Arceus you meet Ingo who is from the present similar to the player character. Also he has amnesia and wants to remember where he came from. He is actually from Pokemon Black and White where he is one of the two leaders of the Battle Subway. The other leader is his twin brother who looks the same as him except he wears white clothes.

Sorry for asking this question, Wasn't into the pokemon series. Just stumbled across some of your animations and this one seemed interesting, Is there any backstory behind the conductor?
This is loosely based on Pokemon Legends: Arceus, which features an amnesiac character named Ingo (who was one of the twins that ran the battle subway in Black and White). I always really liked those two, and the way the game explores his desperate grasp at any remaining memories he has is a very neat little storyline.

@@Gothstana no, i just don't have a pfp. Still, Im quite curious since it used to have the sniper pfp for a good while. The new one is cool, but I wonder why it change it
So there’s this guy named Ingo. Through a sheer accident of a time-controlling entity going berserk and bad luck, he got sent to the past, and thanks to a space-controlling entity also going berserk, the past of a different country. So he’s essentially stranded in the past and his brother is left behind in the present to pick up the pieces.
The character depicted in this video is Ingo as he appears in the pokemon game Legends Arceus. Legends arceus is a pokemon game that takes place in the distant past in the hisui region, which would later become the sinnoh region of diamond pearl and platinum. Ingo is one of several wardens- people tasked with being the guardians of the supposedly blessed "noble" pokemon of each area, the tall sneasel-like pokemon in the video named sneasler being his noble, that you meet in the game. However, what makes him stand out from all the other wardens in the game is his origin. Similarly to the player character he comes from the present day, but unlike the player character, who was sent back to "seek all pokemon" and to possibly save the world, Ingo appeared in hisui under mysterious circumstances and without any memories. The most interesting part of this is that he's actually from a past game. Pokemon Black and white/Black and White 2, to be exact, where he was the final boss of the Battle Subway (Hence the title and train references within the video) postgame battle challenge facility in those games alongside his twin brother Emmet (the dude in white at the end of the video as well as referenced through the smiling shadow) and his main pokemon was Chandelure, a chandelier fire-ghost type pokemon (who's cry can be heard in the video when things went purple). Ingo's amnesia makes it so he cannot remember just what exactly was he separated from but he retains his old mannerisms (the way he points here is his pose from his og official art and he does it alot in legends arceus too) and sometimes can faintly but extremely foggily recall things (referenced in the video and game dialog). Ingo's situation has left alot of the fandom wondering how Emmet is doing since he as his twin- was ingos other half, and seperation is most twins' worst nightmare, and as a result alot of various fan media has popped up with this subject in mind.
@@Yipper64 Yes. It's still bad. Your standards are just low, probably when it comes to pokemon especially. The only time pokemon is good is with spinoffs or with romhacks.
I really hope Ingo gets to back home. As much as I love seeing him in past Sinnoh, the mans doesn't need to be missing his other half like this.
