I want to point out how so many of us black people have to mute ourselves for the work place. For us to feel like what’s natural to us, our culture, our creativity can be seen as unprofessional or too “crazy” for work is really telling. Loving the loc sprinkles! I will be doing mine soon ✨

@@Misspolite They own the companies, so we feel we have to consider how we look in order to have stability on the job. Maybe things are changing since the natural hair movement in 2008. I hope so!!
I work in medicine. Most times I’m the only chocolate female in the room. My locs touch mid back now…they’re full of beads , shells…I had feathers at one point. The beauty to us…is our freedom to be..us.

Idk if no one has said this but, if you’d put the needle thru the bead before pulling the the thread, the bead would be on the string and close to the loc after. It can help with saving time and it’s easier than trying to get the string through the bead. 4:16

I started my lpc journey over again and was determined to keep mine in despite the “ugly phase” I’m on month 4 going on 5 and wanted to find ways to jazz my hair up without covering it with a wrap or a wig. Just left the store😊thank you

So happy i found your video because I wa s searching online for lo. Sprinkles and came here to get an idea if I could do it. My Wal-Mart only had multicolor but it had gold on it and I've counted out 130 gold ones and haven't got it to half the little bottle. $2.08

I haven’t taken them out yet. They are in there permanently until I cut them out.

When you wash them do they turn colors? Do you ever have to replace them? Do you interlock?
Nope. Nope. And nope. They have not turned colors, I haven’t changed them out. They are still going strong. And no, I do palm rolling only.
so beautiful!!! I really want to try this, but I wonder if it works for Sister locs??? Any suggestions? Right now I just have the glass beads "pulled up" on my loc, if that makes any sense.

I have starter locs.. it's been 2 weeks but my goal is to have bob lenght hair like yours and as I do I want loc sprinkles... I've only randomly run into one video about it.
The good thing about hair is that you can always try different things. Go for it once your ends are more locd.

15 months. If your ends are fully locs you can apply the sprinkles.

Yes. After having them in for over year, by the time I cut them out they were mostly black.

Yes. You can cut them out when you no longer want them.
I tried this method. It took me two whole days on my microlocs and they turned out gorgeous. But they all fell out over the next several days after that. Got to find a way to make them last longer. Much longer.
