This is the first time I've listened to a discussion about art so clear, honest, inspiring and true. Listening to Rupert and Henry put me right into that place they are talking about. Being an artist myself, I can't express how meaningful and, for want of a better word, enlightening this was for me. Thank you so much.
Rupert you seem to always be on the edge of needing to speak and this time it felt as though there was very little room for Henry to be heard. I’ve noticed you’re natural disposition seems to be like a child seated on the edge of a chair with his hand up ready to jump at the answer. I feel there is no pause breath and take in what is being shared. I’d love to witness more space and a great pause and refrain from the constant need to say YES 💖
It’s sort of strange … but, after listening to Rupert’s last conversation with Bernardo, sharing his feelings/thoughts about Putin … something is ‘gone’ … irrevocably. It’s almost as if some very delicate ties have been cut. I still can see and love Rupert just as he is … but, this previous connection no longer exists. Something which was thought to be so solid evaporated … sort of in the blink of an ‘I’. Without ‘doing’ a thing. And without sadness or regret. It just fell away … Just so.
Should we not forget our past memories when touching and talking about these matters beyond. Because if not we will be missing the quality and eternity in the midst of truthful and loving celebration of awareness, as speakers and listeners.
