V6 Touareg TDI vs Supercrew F150 ecoboost. Both vehicles were in 4lo with the rear elock on in the F150. The tires were the same Cooper Discoverer ATPs. Duramax
I was selling both of those vehicles soon after that and thought I'd give it a try. Just proves you can't pull much either way with a static strap on sand.
4wd these days really just means part time 4wd. AWD mostly refers to full-time 4wd or the original system. Prior to the 70s most vehicles with 4wd were permanent. They used part time to increase fuel mileage. But the older transfer cases had a center diff (NP203).
@@zedgerton73 one of the best systems in my opinion. The 2011 and up Touaregs biased torque to the rear. Early versions like this one split everything 50/50.
Whoever thought that would work on sand has the iq of the rock that sand came from
And this is what happens when you have an IQ of room temperature
V6 TDI lol. Compare against a V10 TDI and it'll be a different story.
Power doesn't matter much in a tug of war, it's about who has more traction. The truck is heavier and likely has better tires.
If traction is your limiting factor, then yes.
@@Land_Raverafter traction is handled, the winner will be the one with more torque.
Or if they just did this on asphalt the tourage would win no problem
"Compare it with an engine with over twice the torque and displacement and see what more powerful!" No duh ret^ard
жалко что нет сугроба рядом, можно еще внем по "соревноваться"
Let's agree to disagree 😃
BOOOOOORRRRIINNNNGGGGGG
Figured you'd catch more fish with all that trolling
I have v10 tdi and it s other
I wish I still had my Touareg.
Вот же круто, а зачем?
Thought I'd see if one would pull the other.
Most pointless thing I’ve seen.
Disagree vehemently. A sphere is the most pointless thing.
@@Land_Raver don’t know doing a towing test on sand is way up there.

These touaregs have haldex 4 motion and electronic locking diffs. Damn thing has better off-roading equipment then most trucks tbh

well you could say that Ford won not?
Did you saw the video where the VW won against the Dodge Ram ?
@@Eibert-Alstein or the Silverado duramax
Touareg better quality, better engines. 🦾 🇩🇪
Still miss that Touareg
