I have this ritual. Every Friday, the moment the bell strikes the appropriate hour, I turn off my work computer, and play the original of this song. Think the ritual is about to change, and the song I'll be playing is this (when it comes out).
I actually can't wait for this because my kids love the covers of Peaches and I'll Make A Man Out Of You, AND they love Blinding Lights...while I don't dislike Blinding Lights, the more music we can swap out for metal on the car ride to school, the better 😁
WHAT?!?!?!? This already sounds better than every other cover of this song I've ever heard yet. The video is also a marked progression of what we normally get too. I'm VERY MUCH liking what I'm seeing and hearing so far....... Hopefully we don't have to wait too much longer.
@@Mulukkis that's an amazing cover too, as is most everything Tommy releases, but I think Matt is finally reaching a point in his career where he is starting to really stretch out with his creative process and expand the production capabilities. It's honestly wonderful to witness.
I can't stand the Original version of this song. It's being played to death everywhere I go, however if there is someone who can make it bearable it's either you or Jonathan Young!

Feuerschwanz is the definitive metal version of this song to me. I already love what I've heard so far \m/
