I'm looking at the still shot of the soldered chips @11:34 & the one on the glitchy Furby looks like there's some solder going between the chips? There should be a a straight green line in between the two, but there's maybe something there. I like to do circuit bending & the main places to connect wires are right around those solder points. Maybe related?

Yes the way the it is soldered is weird, I don't do circuit bending, but it seemed as if the short from that soldered area, messed up the whole furby to the point I couldn't convert it back.

@@oliviasfurbyrepairs687 It might be a tad bit dangerous, but you could possibly scrape the solder away? If you used your small screwdriver or something with a finer point, it should be doable. As long as the solder points on the chips aren't connected to any other solder points, you should be good to go, so you wouldn't have to scrape much off. Weird how it just shorts out sometimes... though I kinda like it 😂

@@bluorb I might do that in the future. But if you watch til the end of the video, I used sherbet for parts and used his speaker in another furby. Also if you look on my community/posts page you can see the customized version of sherbet. He no longer works. If I get another glitch furby, I will try this. Thanks

Sadly RL bugs are permanent there is no way to fix them usually it means there’s something wrong with their actual programming.

Yes, I wish there was a cure, or a way to relieve the problem, so it is not as bad. I wonder if R.L furbys were like this when they were new in stores, or if this glitch happened slowly over time?
