- In this video I cover the skill tree in diablo 4 on the beta server. I show what are some of the best skills /abilities and how to path properly through the tree to gain as much damage and defensive stats as possible.

thank you. Now i know and understand just how much I've messed up and why I was doing next to no damage at level 30 and playing at Adventurer difficulty. I placed almost all my points on the first level/basic attack stuff. 😂🤣
First correction the first part of the tree is the generator skills their meant to be weak because their meant to generate your additional resource the 2nd is your resource spender basically taken from diablo 3.

I am going to ask a stupid question here, not sure if covered in the video. I skipped over the video.
I see alot of people for eg, allocating only 1 stat point into a lot of the skills. Why is this? Is this to saved on points to put those save points into Passive skills or?

Okay well I actually stumbled across this video trying to understand what skill levels mean. So by this logic am I understanding if you had the Harley Quinn unique piece for example that gives you plus 4 skills? Would that mean that they would be at + 4 for free and you could just add one point to do five Or even max out to 9 I guess there's only one way for me to find out
For some reason I refund all my skill points but I still some points. Example as a rogue I have one point in caltrops but I thought they should all be reset to 0. Thank you.

so say an ability is ranked 5/5 and others can go past 5, why is that and how do i rank above 5/5
I've been playing D2R and i love playing a necro summoner and a druid summoner -- a necro summoner can raise skeleton warriors starting at level 1 -- a druid summoner can summon ravens starting at level 1 -- from the D4 skill trees i've seen so far i can't start summoning anything until I've spent 20 skill points in other stuff -- I don't like that at all -- I hope that when the necro and druid come out tomorrow i can actually start summoning stuff earlier
What do you mean you can't raise a skeleton in level 1 in D4? Wait, why was I able to raise 3 before I leveled up to 2?! I may need to look back at it again because I did, right off when I came out of that snowy cave (where he said he need to find a shelter from this cold). Does playing in Veteran make a difference?
@@LoynePueblos he posted his comment without having played the beta yet.. Necro is busted. You are correct in saying Necro gets skelly warriors( 4 in total) right from the start at level 1.
How do you level up abilities to rank 6?

Compared to POE this seems aimed at 5 year olds. I’m not impressed by the tree at all. Hopefully they change it
The problem is your comparing this to a game from an entirely different company. If you compare this to its prior titles it is a fantastic change that pays homage to D2LOD while still bringing a new face to the game. POE has a more complex skill tree no doubt but this is a great cross of the classic of D2LOD and D3
@@ErikHEisenblade D3 has MUCH more skills, with each 5 runes... this is babyshit and will get old quickly once the novelty of the shiny graphics wears off

I hate POE tree, and skill system. But this onde from diablo is WORST 1000 times but in the opposite direction. In D4 meteor talent you have 2 choices, 30% faster or a mini stun. In D3 you could have it Instant, it consuming all your mana for a big single punch, could have it cold and do a stun, Make it a 40s CD with 100x the damage. Things that CHANGED the spell.

It's December now and the game is still complete garbage compared with 2R and even 3.
The skill tree is just terrible. Hours of play and every skill is "Add a 5% chance to..." or "Increase crit damage by 3%" or "Increase chance to crit by 2%"
Nothing seems even slightly impactful. As the mobs scale HP scale much faster than these invisible alterations to percentages mitigate,
The skill tree has added no new abilities after the first 20 minutes (when I got the resource spend attack ) - that was it. End of build. Just get 5% stronger every level - but the mobs get 8% stronger every level.
No feeling of progression or experimentation what-so-ever. Just get weaker and weaker in comparison to mobs of your level every time you level up
After 9 hours play I've not come across a third ability since the resource spender was added after the first 20 minutes.
I'm much weaker now than when I stared when fighting mobs at the same level, and my tool-set to fight them... is exactly the same as it was after 9 hours as it was after 20 minutes
2 button play - same two buttons.
Accumulate power - spend power. Repeat ad nauseum
On and on it goes. Simpler than a phone game. Simpler than a BAD phone game for three year olds. No depth at all.

Everybody is explaining the obvious shit. Nobody explains stats from gear and cap..
for $70 there isnt much replayability and build variety with skill trees. Disappointed once again
the skill tree is so bad and boring I don't understand why people were praising it so much

Also, the game hasn't even released yet and we were level-capped to 25.. maybe wait for the full game launch to give that incomplete take on the matter!
@@UMAD666 yeah I played the last beta it completely turned me off of the game I decided not to buy it besides I'm into zelda tears the kingdom right now anyway
