    The Frogman Corps still allows civilians to join and has been doing it for as long as I know, several decades at the least. It was the Jaeger Corps who had a period where they tried also allowing civilians to join (inspired by the Frogs and because the Jaegers had recruiting problems) which they dropped after a few years. Now you need a minimum of 8 months of training before you can apply for Jaeger selection.

      Hello thanks for your comment, you put our brilliant content. Ah ok sorry someone commented and said they don’t allow civilians, great to know they do. Both are highly professional units with great operators. Would be great if we could collaborate one day if I came over to Denmark

      @@CombatReadyHQ I would love to see a collaboration on how both Denmark and UK work together to aid Ukrainians in getting trained abroad, from F-16 pilot/engineer training in Denmark to foot soldiers and tank operators in Britain. I hope you have to step up to be able to do it before POOtin are kicked out of Ukraine hopefully soon.

    I gotta say, the North Sea looked incredibly calm in this. Having sailed rescue and salvage in the Danish North Sea, this kind of weather strikes me as being extremely calm

    Our King is a full valided member of the frogmen.. And he even did the Sirius Patrol.. He is a true badass

    Träff keeps fucking up, but he keeps at it and trying, and thus he is allowed to continue.
    30- 35 is what professional soldiers have operated with since the Roman Legions (and probably before), it seems to be what a young, strong, healthy and fit male can operate with without being hampered too much. My 65 kg frog buddy says they sometimes operate with 110+ kg.

    13:15 So this was back when the main Danish energy company was still called DONG.😄

    I believe the frogs still welcome civilians, but the other SF branch, the hunters or "jægerne" couldn't make it work.

    Now you've watched both this and Sirius, you can get an idea of who our new King is. He's a Frog, and also spent 4 month on Greenland.. Wasnt a Sirius deployment, but he went out on sleds with 4 past Sirius members, and only a cameraman.. This was in 2000, when he was Crown Prince.. Pretty cool!

      Yeah I deftly have a good understanding of you new King and how lucky you are, he is very disciplined and professional, and want to be the best he can be for his people

      @@CombatReadyHQ Thank you very much! He's Like his grand father, an unconventional King himself. He did bodybuilding, was covered in sailor tattoo's and swore.. And his father, who would ride his horse alone through Nazi occupied Cophenhagen .. Its the things they do, to show they're part of the people that end up meaning the most :) We've been very lucky!

    I understand why you get tics and nervous twitches when you see that they don't have two hands on the weapon, but as the instructors said at the beginning of Hell Week, it wasn't so much about the tactics, but more about the will to continue. 😊

      I totally get that thank you, but we had it drilled into us ok exercise, operations and even just marches/tabs that we always have at least one hand on the weapon and preferably two hands, teaches you well for ops, just a habit for me lol 😀

    • @patrulje1
      @patrulje1 7 дней назад

      Between the two of us, we always worked with both hands on the weapon in our unit, and at a minimum, the hand you shoot with. 😊
