I am not a Greek, but back in 70 s I used to work on GREEK COMMERCIAL SHIPS and about 10 or 11 years I had been to Piraeus many times, what a wonder full country was it at that time. I feel very sorry when I think of it. Now same thing happened to my country too, already most of the valuable
Places in my country including our main PORT HAVE BEEN SOLD TO CHINESE BY OUR CURRUPT POLITICIAN. VERY RECENTLY OUR COUNTRY DECLARED BANKRUPTCY. GOOD LUCK TO YOU.
    YASUS !!!

Interesting conversation. What I miss though is to hear what Mr Giogros Gogos thinks of the Chinese plans to connect Piraeus to Belgrad (and onward to Budapest) as part of their BRI project (Belt and Road Initiative). Chinese plan to make Belgrade a centre of distribution for eastern Europe and Piraeus port is an important part of that vision. I would expect this to bring considerable investments to the port as well as the region.

Greeks have tried to shake loose their creditors with no success. Maybe it is time to get out of the EU and declare bankruptcy Issue your own crypto. From California, I hear we are also on the docket. "You can't scare me I'm working for the union."

Yes, I am also recommending people stop eating animals. Respect for all sentient beings would be a good foundation for redemption. No more blood sacrifice to Moloch. Grace of the earth upon you.

I say Be inspired by nature's Garden but don't worship it!
Play in the Garden and steward it but do not worship it. You cannot attribute "human" properties to land and animals and there is NO "mother earth"! A great Indian chief, Seattle, expressed their belief as follows: "every part of the earth is sacred to my people. We are part of earth and it is part of us. The perfumed flowers are our sisters, the deer, the horse, the great eagle, these are our brothers". I think NOT. Attributing "human qualities" to nature is not our mandate. That leads to holy cows and rats roaming big parts of India! That led to totem poles that became worship poles. No, we are to be good stewards of earth-not worhsip OR abuse it!
Like ants, we must utilize it to rule, reign, multiply and each have our area of domain.
Yes, we can learn from nature but creation and created beings have NO spirit. "Mother earth" may be associated with nurture and fruitfulness but "she" has no spirit. Only man has a spirit. Although some of mankind behave like monkeys, we do not descend from monkeys-monkeys have a body and soul (instinct), no spirit. If monkeys had a spirit they would not eat ants-only learn from them!

"Giogros Gogos" has too many Gs and Os. There we can simply call him "Go"

Greece should have declared bankruptcy but the Greeks opted for the money from EU. Now they have to sell assets that have value ... which includes their ports.
