Amazing fight. You're awesome. I'm currently doing my first sl1 playthough and, of course, I'm having a tough time with SOC. I tried the longsword then I tried the dragonslayer axe and I came so close several times. It sure sucks when you think you have it in the bag, lol. Maybe I'll try out your build and see if that does anything for me. I still have him and Midir left 😥 Again, fantastic fight. Videos like these deserve a heck of a lot more views. Pure perfection!
@@Shadow__1414 Yes! I finally beat him and every other boss from the game, including all dlc bosses. Looking back now, I think SOC and Sister Friede were my 2 hardest bosses. Midir 2nd place, lol. I even recorded all the boss fights and will eventually upload them in the future. I highly recommend a sl1 run for anyone whose done several playthroughs already. Kinda felt like playing the game for the first time again, in a way. Loved it!
@@PuffydohPlus Congratulations! It's really awesome to do all those things, and beat all those bosses haha, sorry for the question, but what is a sl1 run? I am not good with the abbreviations haha
@@Shadow__1414 Thanks for that and yeah, it's awesome and I'm so glad I did it! No problem at all. I see abbreviations all the time for stuff I have no clue what they mean, lol. SL1 means Soul Level 1. In other words, it means I completed Dark Souls 3 at soul level one without ever leveling up. To do this though, you have to choose the Deprived character class at the beginning of the game because it's the only class which lets you start the game at soul level one, then of course, from there don't ever level up. Just rely on your gear, rings, knowledge, etc. It was such a different and great experience, although very tough at times, but definitely doable.
@@PuffydohPlusWoooow that's even more awesome man, really, congratulations! Beat the game with level 1 it must be something extremely difficult, so, again, congratulations!
Wow, really nice, you must have worked really hard. SoC is by far the hardest boss for challenge people due to the fact it doesn't have any rules of attacking, by the way you are a bit lucky that SoC didn't kick a single one, that skill is hard to react
Realmente meu camarada você está certo fiz um teste com um boss que não vi vídeo de você matando é exatamente isso você tem que se preocupar mas em decorar os golpes não em matar o seu inimigo
I'd love if the DS series, BB and ER had a boss fight section, as Sekiro has. I have to admit that I don't play the DS series repeatedly because the games are too long, but if I could choose to just fight bosses over and over, I'd play DS more often, as I do with Sekiro.
@@2haka Same! I have always wanted a good feature to refight the bosses. I love that part so much about Sekiro. With the other games, I will admit that having to replay the entire game to fight the single boss you wanted to fight again is not always great.
Mechanically it seems pretty easy if your experience enough, but dude come one his moveset is literally EVERYTHING all in one throughout the whole fight that in itseyis awesome to me for many reasons not only that you don't have to fight meta you can go blow for blow parry him then poison him instead of the riposte etc you know it's all about how you approach power in these games
@@journeymanofhope9866 yeah, i have changed my mind on him over time. i wrote this comment while trying to no damage him as well and i was just venting lol
The heal is easily one of the worst aspects of the fight u can use dual charms to stop the heal from lingering after he casts it making the heal less effective on him
This boss is so fun. Not sure why they'd make his curved sword attacks faster than you can roll, but fun regardless
Yo this is soo sick. Your definitely one of the best players I’ve seen 😊. Hope to see some hitless runs too 👍
Thank you!

Thank you! I enjoyed learning the fight a ton, though I am still not amazing at it! And yea, that kick got me plenty of times haha
BRO THIS FIGHT IS INSANE
Nice, how long did it take you to do this I tried a similar thing where I only used a 0 enchant greatsword and no armor and got destroyed

Yep, and beating the boss is simple enough after you learn anyways

this is one of the hardest boss to master mechanically at SL1 +0, in contrast, with even a bit of stamina, hp and damage he becomes easy as fk.
I send this to my friends to get them into these games!

You can use titanite to upgrade your weapons in this game
His moveset is too fun
