  • GMV has developed an innovative autonomous mobile robotics solution for the inspection of electrical substation assets, as part of its participation in the ASUMO (Advanced Substation Monitoring) project, led by Elewit and Red Eléctrica (Redeia companies).
The ASUMO project, which seeks to modernise the inspection of electrical substations through cutting-edge technologies, has embraced the vision of a smarter industry by integrating GMV's uPathWay solution in a quadruped ANYbotics robot which allows it to carry out missions autonomously: reading analogue indicators, thermographic reports, reading discharges, detecting and monitoring oil leaks, etc. This innovative approach has completely transformed the way in which the inspection of electrical substations is carried out through Artificial Intelligence and Robotics.
