Well getting friendship is one of the most time taking unless you are a super addict money spender. They usually spend on resins and farm using the said character. For simple players it would be best to -Use your resins by setting your desired character on the team - using it on coop gives you twice friendship xp - daily commissions with coop - Katheryn claim also on coop - teapots xps - 10x doggo feed or something similar like killing crocs I don’t think you would be able to reach 8 in just a week.
