Hi brent, that’s So sad and emotional lesson especially when you were talking about the body of those poor soliders and were crying, it makes me So sad and and I had to pause the video then I tried to watch it again, Thank you So much for taking us to this special place, I Really appreciate it , take care .
Golsa, thanks so much for your comment. It was a tough one to film, but I wanted to show my true emotions. I feel the same about any soldier who died fighting in a war, even if it's my own country. It's the passion that I respect.
What a beautiful lesson Brent!!!! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us!!! I've been learning a lot with your videos, tks for being part of my English learning.
Hi Brent, It testifies that you have a very kind heart . You can feel the pain of others. This video really made me sad especially when you were talking about the recoverd body parts of the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives in war for their country. Thank you Sir.
Brent, This video made me tears flow, lots of people died serving fr the country. It was a special experience watching this video. A permanent place of rest for all humans- the Graveyard/cemetery. Thanks Brent for the video.
Oh! Brent, I thought you are a tough 'Guy', jumping off of a bridge, sleeping overnight in a cemetery etc.. etc..but deep inside, you are a super soft human. This place is quite peaceful and picturesque. Visiting to these greatest departed personalities probably made your day. Right? Thanks for making wonderful lessons for us with a lot of efforts.
Right video. Being a member of a special search squad I pick dozens of unknown WW2 soldiers...Every year. They are always remembered, always in our hearts...
I haven’t seen your sad face before. I’m overcome with emotions when I saw you’re talking about the soldier. Thank you so much Brent, you’re the best teacher ever! 🌸🌸🌸
Ah, Miho. Thank you so much. Yes, it was deeply moving to be there. I have a great deal of respect for any soldier who is willing to give their live for their country. I may not agree with why they are fighting, but to feel so passionately about a cause is something I feel should be respected.
@@AmericanEnglishBrent yes, all the soldiers that they fight for the country and lost their lives should be respected. So impressed to see the video about Arlington National cemetery.
Your video reminds me of the following lyrics: “The land of the free and the home of the brave … “ Freedom is not free; someone has paid something priceless for it. America is a unique country that is worth being loved since it is the only country that is built on values instead of ethnicity. These values are Liberty, E Pluribus Unum, and In God We Trust. How precious they are. I won’t let leftists and communists destroy this beautiful land. Thank you, Brent, for letting us, English learners, have an opportunity to visit this special place for this special country on this planet.
Jack, thanks so much for those lyrics. I do think that any country has the potential to be built on values. Every country has its fair share of amazing people. The US doesn't always get it right. We've made mistakes in the past, but I do love my country.
@@AmericanEnglishBrent Actually, I come from a country which has been tortured by far leftists and communists for decades. I love America not because every American is great (of course not), but because of the American values - freedom of speech, religion, press, etc. When you say, "We've made mistakes in the past.", I guess you are saying "PART of we have made mistakes like enslaving people." Actually, half Americans didn't enslave people in the past, and when slavery was happening in America, it also was happening in other parts of the world, so we can't blame America alone for slavery just like leftists do. And you know what, what makes America so great is she is one of the first countries that abolished slavery. Leftists and communists tend to judge anything with an ideal, utopian set of moral standards, especially when they are judging America. They also tend to judge anyone or anything in the past with contemporary moral standards, which is not fair at all. God says, "Noah was a righteous man in his generation." (Genesis 6:9) Why didn't God just say, he is a righteous man? Because God has the greatest wisdom, knowing that Noah can only be judged by the moral standards of his own time, and if Noah was judged by that of later times, he would not be righteous any more.
I watched and feel impressed by this video Brent. I feel the same with all of my heart. There is no something honored for died your homeland on the world. Hello Brent ! A big thank you for this new lesson ! It was so interesting and moving.... And yes I would love to have this BOOK and discover Alex's adventures. I love this kind of video, because we learn a lot with interesting topics. We have an American cemetery here since world war 2. (Not far from my house) Seeing all those white crosses and knowing they were so young, so far from their country, their family and friends... and just for us for our Liberty makes me always cry. They become our children too for ever because they came here for us. I think it's my duty to pray for them and never forget. It's for reasons like this and many others that French people and American people are friends for ever. 🇺🇸 Thank you once more !

Thank you, great video, the cementry with the tombs of soldiers remind the cruelty of the war. In Poland we had to face with many such facts. In 1944 the German army was retreating. Within two days they realized the masacre in Warsaw in the district "Wola". 50 thousand people were shot, chlidren, men, pregnant women. So, in Poland the tomb of unknown soldier could be placed in each corner of the street. Have a nice day🙂.
