Along with the cabin , somewhere out there is a cave that has old calvary gold and rifles stashed away. Story has is that the calvary was on the run and didn't want the Indians to get the rifles and they stashed the gold to lighten the wagons. Back in the 80s my grandpa and I found what was left of an old revolver but never found any gold
@user-ld5xh8fq1s Nice. I haven't heard that story yet. Sounds like a good treasure hunt. Do you think Bob looked for the gold? There are lots of spots in the canyon that look like they have been worked at one time. 🤔
@@offroad801 it wouldn't surprise me any if he did . Like you seen there are so many places down in that area to hind things . Some where north of topaz in that range is supposed to be a Spanish gold cash. Talking to a sheep hearder , he told of seeing the opening of it but not being able find it when he got close.
@user-ld5xh8fq1s And Spanish treasure. Sounds like it could be worth spending more time in that area. There are tons of places to search. Lots of open country out here. I always wonder. How much gold did the Spanish take out of Utah. 🤔
I've heard the Spanish used the Indians to haul and or hide alot of gold and silver. Alot to find in the west desert . Just got to figure out where its all hid 😂😂. Thanks for all ur videos and good luck if you start looking.
@user-ld5xh8fq1s Yes, from what I know, they would inslave them and make them work the mines too. I wish I still had the energy to dig for gold. Maybe if I find something with a metal detector, I'll start digging. Or I see something sticking out of the ground. You never know, I might find something. Even if it's just a piece of a gun. Like you found. That would be amazing. Thanks again for your support. And thanks for the ideas 💡
@@georgetucci1100 Thank you so much. I love sharing these amazing places. I'm glad we can pull you away from Florida. To explore the west with us. Thanks for watching 👀.
This is a great edit! Chantel was doing some work on those rocks.....lol. Very cool preservation of the cabin. Heck yeah, I could do that, especially with that view. Fun adventure Curtis thanks for sharing.
Thanks 👍. She loved it. She's definitely a good little miner . That cabin was way nicer than I expected. It was big lots of head room and the view is amazing. And very quiet 🤫. Thanks for checking out this place with us 👍.
@@h.bsfaithfulservant4136 Maybe next time we'll find a big one. Thanks for trying to make it happen for us. This canyon was nicer than I expected. And very few people. We had a blast. Dinner was perfect fast and easy. So we could get some sleep 😴 💤. Thanks for hanging out with us ❤️.
@traceyfinn1355 Sweet. I've been wanting to see both of these places. I'm so glad we made it and were able to take you with us. Take care and thanks for hanging out with us ❤️.
@fossilize_llc Nice. No, I didn't know about the fossils or the sinkhole. Guess I have some more things to find next time I'm in that area. So thank you. And thanks for watching 👀.
@hermitlifeinthemountainsub9493 Definitely. The tent ⛺️ is a snake 🐍 free zone. My wife did find a rattlesnake but not in the tent. Thank goodness 🙏 😅.
Been to Topaz hundreds of times, never heard or seen amethyst nor opal here, Beryl is extremely hard to find as is Garnet and its usually misshapen. You can find topaz clear crystals at certain times of year and from what I hear, you need permission to hunt there now. Tons of snakes and scorpions though, I got scraped on the back of my leg by one, years ago.
@chrisrasmussen4612 I've only been there once now. And you got to see what I found. The info I stated I found online. I'm not surprised if it's wrong. Maybe Delta is trying to generate more tourism by putting that information out there 🤔. When we were there. It seemed like everything was open. You just have to stay off the claim that is there. It was pretty clearly marked. Definitely watch out for the wildlife. I'm sure there's plenty of snakes 🐍 and scorpions 🦂. Thanks for watching 👀.
@hermitlifeinthemountainsub9493 I hope not. It was pretty nice inside. The first little cave I found looked like someone camped there. But I think out of respect nobody should camp in the cabin. Probably just end up getting ruined 😕 😪.
