Yes Jonathan taking pictures of Nancy while she was undressed could come off as weird to Steve since he didn’t understand the context of what was going on and he had every right to break the camera, BUT there’s also an issue where instead of Steve going to Nancy and asking what she would like to do about the situation because it’s a picture of HER, he immediately got his friends involved and tried to intimidate Jonathan which she did not approve of (and was obviously uncomfortable w/ it). The pictures of Barb have a feeling to them, loneliness, waiting. Steve was right to call him out. For me personally: Breaking the camera is not okay. But Jonathan was indeed looking for his brother and he took his pictures too far. It's also sad that they (steve and friends) don't have sympathy for Jonathan, but it is understandable.

Yes Jonathan taking pictures of Nancy while she was undressed could come off as weird to Steve since he didn’t understand the context of what was going on and he had every right to break the camera, BUT there’s also an issue where instead of Steve going to Nancy and asking what she would like to do about the situation because it’s a picture of HER, he immediately got his friends involved and tried to intimidate Jonathan which she did not approve of (and was obviously uncomfortable w/ it). I tried my best to explain why people can be upset at both Jonathan and Steve in this situation. Hope it helps :))
I agree also it’s Nancy’s body and if she didn’t want to make a big deal about it then she didn’t have to. Women have a right to make their own decisions on how to deal with theses types of situations. Nancy didn’t want to escalate things here but I feel both of the guys did something wrong

People will forever discuss the Jonathan photo thing. He's a photographer at heart so the first couple feel very Artsy to me. You see an opportunity, you take it. The pictures of Nancy aren't okay. The pictures of Barb have a feeling to them, loneliness, waiting.
Steve was right to call him out. For me personally: Breaking the camera is not okay. But Jonathan was indeed looking for his brother and he took his pictures too far. It's also sad that they (steve and friends) don't have sympathy for Jonathan, but it is understandable.

Like...why?? He took so many and then developed them. Jonathan, why? What was he gonna do with them? After watching all 4 season Steve is my favorite but I love Jonathan as well and everyone knows that the picture taking was wrong. It’s alright to dislike Steve in the first season but that doesn’t mean that he is a bad person or that what he did was wrong. Breaking the camera was a lot but if u saw a guy taking pictures of ur girlfriend getting dressed anyone would do the same.
I don't know, I think Michael Myers' breathing is scarier than Vader's. And I think Joker is perhaps the greatest cinematic villain of all time. I know... "he's a comic book character." But he's had such a cinematic run over the last 30+ years, with so many varied performers in iconic performances. The character has netted two different actors Oscars for their performances just 11 years apart from one another.
