This video is a quick look into the game to see how a round of Battletech TCG is played to get an idea of how the game functions and to get a simple start to the game.
Tipsy!!!! Thank you soooo much for making this VID! I love that you Draw 2 cards per turn and the flavour of the game is so cool! I will check out more of your vids!
Great video, gave you a thumbs up. Loved this game but never got a chance to really play it with anyone so was always a little unsure of the mechanics. What system/software are you playing this on?
This was played with Tabletop simulator. It allows you to recreate any card or board game in 3d space and play it with other people You can find it on the Steam store
How do I have my hand in the bottom of my screen like yours? When I draw, it sends my cards to right of the Deck Construction Zone. It’s like a little zone with my username.
Great video. Always happy to see a great game get some love. Speaking of love, we love Battletech and its CCG so much, we developed a spiritual successor to it! Check out REDLINE: Tactical Card Combat on our Kickstarter now. It features simultaneous combat, mission based area control, designs by a Battletech artist and a lot more. www.kickstarter.com/projects/camx/redline-tactical-card-combat
Great vid. I plan to get some cards and play with my friend. One question. How do you look under the card face down in tabletop simulator without fliping it like you did in 3rd minute of your video?
Thanks for the compliments! To peek under a card in TTS you have to just hover over the card you want to peek at, hold down Alt + Shift at the same time.
Thats a good question and sorry for the delayed response. To start construction of a mech takes up a deployment. But after its on the field to add construction tokens to it does not take a deployment. In this scenario the 2 mechs have be placed in a previous round so you have a fresh 2 deployments this round, 1 which is used to gain Munitions resource, the other is to start construction of the military academy

This makes me want to find a cheap collection and try to play this.
Got my set out again. Son is interested in card games. Made 2 simple decks just for easy fighting and had a lot of fun. Great video!
Great video!!! Finally a video on a game turn.

This was a great vid.
Please think about doing it for other CCGs! Like Dune, Middle Earth Dark Age, Nightmare before Christmas...
Thanks for video!!! Good
I think you forgot a point of damage during the combat phase 18:35, you had 8 points of damage to assign but only placed 7.

I have the lackey CCG Program but I want this one as it's easier for me to grasp since I'm an idiot. What is this called again?
The program used is tabletop simulator. It's extremely user friendly. Takes a bit to get use to the controls but after you get the hang of it your set

isnt building that 2 mechs used up both your deployments? How can you still deploy that M resource?
