I tired but When I put it in the sugar mixture . They all broke . It was a mess. I don’t know what I did wrong . Gulab Jamun did not have cracks and they came out good but once the hot sugar water that all scatter . Plates any one tell me what this happen what I did wrong .
Make sure that the dough is not too dry instead there is some moisture. Knead dough very well. It should be soft and smooth. Make balls with soft hands and there should not be any crack on the ball. Heat oil on high heat then switch to medium flame. Add balls and fry on low heat until getting a perfect brown color. Leave jamuns in sugar water only for 2-3 mins. Thank you for the tip, my experience tells me the softness is due to the sugar syrup ( sheera ) used to dip the gulab jamuns after frying. But I' ll definitely try your tip next time. 💕✨😊

I think you put them in really hot water that's y they broke. It have happened to me
