recipe of gulab jamun 2 cup water 3 cup sugar 6 pods of cardamom Stir it on medium heat Add 2 tsp lemon juice Next process milk powder 1.5 cup 4 tbsp ghee ( clarified butter ) half cup milk room temperature mix the batter add 1/2 cup meida (all purpose flour) and 1 tsp baking powder to the batter mix it nicely Until it forms a soft dough start making balls And for the first process check the chashni if it starts forming bubbles and the constincy is little sticky turn the heat to low and cover it with lid for the balls turn the oil to medium heat continue with your ball making size depends on you but small size is more recommended Start adding your balls in the oil As the bubbles form Take the balls out when their color changes to brown (light) on other hand add 2 tbsp of rose water or rose essence then add your hot gulab jamuns to hot chashni then turn off the heat then wait till 15 minutes add your gulab jamun in a deep bowl with the syrup and ready!!! enjoy:)

It came out perfect, I only had one problem.. The first batch got flat when I put it directly into the syrup... So I let the second one rest for 5 minutes after I took it out the oil and then I placed it into the syrup... It came out super soft and and juicy and perfect.. Thank you for the amazing recipe

I tried this today...they are very soft, juicy and delicious as well... I changed ratio of chashni by adding 1 and half cup of sugar to 3 cups water as I thought it would be too sweet but i feel they don't retain their shape as shown in this video

I tried this, and no wonder she calls it “no fail recipe” because they turned out delicious even though I used butter instead of clarified butter. I had to use more flour than her because with Ruby’s recipe they were sticky. I highly recommend making these! You won’t be disappointed.
Anna Khan it could be because you made the dough too hard or you fried the gulub jamun on high heat... I’m not a chef but these are some possibilities. Good luck when you make them the next time.

recipe of gulab jamun
2 cup water
3 cup sugar
6 pods of cardamom
Stir it on medium heat
Add 2 tsp lemon juice
Next process
milk powder 1.5 cup
4 tbsp ghee ( clarified butter )

mix the batter
add 1/2 cup meida (all purpose flour)
and 1 tsp baking powder
to the batter
mix it nicely
Until it forms a soft dough
start making balls
And for the first process
check the chashni if it starts forming bubbles and the constincy is little sticky
turn the heat to low and cover it with lid
for the balls
turn the oil to medium heat
continue with your ball making
size depends on you but
small size is more recommended
Start adding your balls in the oil
As the bubbles form
Take the balls out when their color changes to brown (light)
on other hand add 2 tbsp of rose water or rose essence
then add your hot gulab jamuns to hot chashni
then turn off the heat
then wait till 15 minutes
add your gulab jamun in a deep bowl with the syrup
and ready!!!

Thanks Dear❤😀 Tips: Frying them for long or on high heat will harden the jamuns and they won't soak up the syrup. means Sugar syrup should be watery to get inside the jamun, thicker will not pass thru the Gulab Jamuns skin😃. also if you change, add, reduce or replace any ingredient on this recipe then you will fail miserably😃❤
