How To Fix Checking Media Fail Error: Toshiba Laptop

Checking Media Fail error is a common problem for many Toshiba laptop. To fix the error you will need to change some settings in your BIOS.
First you will have to go to security in the BIOS and disable secure boot.
Then go to advance
system configuration
scroll to boot mode
change UEFI to CSM

I've changed the mainboard on a Toshiba Qosmio and my Windows 10 de-activated.
Had to recover the initial Windows and then upgrade. A pain in the rear end, but now my laptop works again.
