The black colorway looks like if the Tumbler Bat-mobile was a shoe. I wear these as a casual winter shoe/boot.

I have the Mountain Fly 2s and they have no inner lining on the shoe upper and its a problem going downhill with the toes jamming the inner wall. Yet the ACG Lowcate and ACG Air Mowabb has inner liners and are more comfortable.

Pink snow too, in case there are any beet eaters around.

Love mine as a hiking shoe but I wouldn’t dream of running in them. The heel is loose and slippery as anything and the laces are thin as cheese wire when you pull them tight for lockdown. It’s just not a running shoe.

An employee at nike told me that this is actually just a lifestyle shoe, its not meant to be a shoe for running or hiking at all

which socks did you wear with them in this video? do you think a neoprene sock would benefit for waterproof hiking?

Have you worn Adidas Free Hikers? Particularly the 2’s. I loved these nikes until I put on those free hikers.

When you say water gets in above the sock lining, do you mean the neoprene part labeled "GORE-TEX" or the neoprene ankle gaiter?
I have these but haven't tested them submerged yet. I'd obviously expect water to get in past the ankle gaiter but I'd expect that to happen to literally any shoe. I assume you meant the neoprene GTX triangle where you tuck the laces under.

I wore these everyday for 2 years in San Antonio, Texas and they just now started to fall apart. 1.5 years were in a kitchen dealing with water and hot oil on a daily basis.

@@xu5949 I've used Hoka in my recent 50k ultras. Something shorter and less technical I might use a road flat with sheet metal screws in them.
