My freeze dryer is coming today!!!!!!!! I'm SO excited!!!! and yes, it's a real one...Harvest Right!!! Can't wait!!! Been watching your videos to learn as much as possible. Can't wait to get started. I have 4 Christmas trees just waiting to try. Amazon should really take that listing down. I notice it has no reviews. That's never a good sign. I'd use the stencils with colored sugar.
Great video to show all of the angry Trolls the reality of life. I'm so glad you like the Little Debbie Christmas trees we sent. I luv your videos! You're the best!
Yes they're cookie stencils. You can use cocoa powder, powdered sugar, royal icing, or frosting. You just scrape the wet icing across with a flat blade and lift off the stencil.
Great Job All! SO happy you all enjoyed the Christmas Trees and that you had success freeze drying them! I am so happy to have come across your channel. Always informative and I enjoy your showing us shots of Alaska and keeping it fun!
That size is hilarious. It reminds me of something a little girl would have in their room pretend like their baking...lol Merry Christmas to you and your family....Sherri-Idaho
YASSSSSSSS! Super happy you got them and that you did it!!! I'll have to try again with the new settings you used 😁 Thanks for figuring these out for us!!!
I did try two trees, & found I needed to cover with parchment paper (expanded to much in the medium 5 tray pro) on regular cycle & they melted a bit too 🫠.... Will try again at 85° (didn't know I could go lower 👍)
Where in AZ did you live? 2 yrs ago, i moved from Glendale, AZ. 1 mile from the stadiums. Im looking to get a freeze dryer when we move to Arkansas to our forever home. I started to follow you for the info on them and your a fellow recovering Arizonian, also your bubbly personality. Thank you for your content. 😊❤
@@StephanieMcCamon oh you’re so sweet! We are from Mesa, but I attended ASU in Glendale (or near there) for a while! Definitely missing the beautiful AZ winters right now.
You broke one of the top rules of FDing. 😮😊 but I get it. I would have not wanted to waste all of the christmas trees either in case they don't turn out. I have seen tons of dehydrators being advertised as freeze dryers on Amazon. It is just sad and I truly feel for people who just don't know the difference.
First, learn your machine. The only temperature sensor on the tray rack is in the heating pad of the second from the top shelf. Major mistake not having a tray on that shelf. Second, do a quick search and you would know the Little Debbie snack cakes have to be dried on a much lower temperature 80⁰ to 90⁰.
People need to do their research before they buy, they also need to look at an actual freeze dryer then look at food dehydrators, then to see what they do n what they don’t do!

I think they are stencils you can use for powdered sugar, but I would use it more often for sprinkling cinnamon on my coffee/cappuccino!
@@knitsewfancy cute!! Oh would be so fun to do a stencil on a drink!
You are absolutely correct. There stencils for dusting cookies or cupcakes. Another fun video. MERRY CHRISTMAS,

I did yellow cake, no frosting. They were like biscotti. So good
@@Gma4of64 ooo yes that sounds tasty!
They plastic stencils are for cinnamon powder dusting on the foam on top of coffee drinks or possibly cocoa.

Amazing. Amazon needs to do better with scam listings.

lately amazon is polluted by scammers.... I purchased several items and immediatly had to return them...Hate how they play us...

REPORT them...there is a way on amazon to report these scammers and any other scammer selling on amazon.

so that means that cake can be freeze dry....
you said not in candy mode.. hmmmmmm
You incorrectly use the term MRE in almost every video, soooo....
In general, people that fall for that pretty much deserve what they get. Especially the ones that talk crap first.
