I love how his eyes lights up when he talks about getting up everyday to play hockey...whatever you think of him, you can't help but aspire to that kind of passion on something.
Lol he's coached pretty well every nhler from this province from the last 25 years. MacKinnon, Marchand, killorn and MacIsaac also. He's an amazing coach.
You boys laugh! But John Scott sniped 2 mediocre goals in the all star game! And he followed it up with returning to the Habs AHL affiliate the St John's IceCaps!, (apparently sponsored by Tim Hortons, who respectfully named the team after their most popular frozen summer drink). So next time you make fun of John Scott, ...think about how you would feel if Tim Hortons got rid of the Ice Capp!!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA you say he doesn't dive? Have you ever watched Crosby, oh wait, Crosbaby? There are lots of players better then Crosbaby like Alex Ovechkin, Patrick Kane, Jamie Benn, etc. Sure he's good, but he dives and there are players better than him.
I know I'm over 9 years later on this upload but I do remember his draft in '05. That was a huge deal and there was so much hype around the him. We're born in the same year, so it was a little bizarre to see someone from the same generation be regarded as one of the "greatest" in NHL history, but he's proven himself!
No he's actually the best player in the NHL and he's the captain of the Pittsburgh Penguins. They have their second game in the Stanley cup finals tomorrow
Jacob Brewer I could care less what a news cast says. No need to be mad. Any true hockey player knows the best is Howe and Gretzky. Sid cant even take a hit without being bent over
Jacob Brewer youre not going to have much of an ass by the end of this convo little 14 year old. You cannot be a good hockey player if you cannot take a hit
Crosby is a class act. Man people love to shit talk him but the guys incredible on and off the ice. Amazing personality, amazing player. Clearly has been humble since the beginning. 14 year old kid talking about playing his game scoring goals while the grinders try and chase him around I mean he just sounds like a pro even back when he was a freakin kid lol
Not only did he get his dream to play in the NHL and get paid for it. But he is the best in the NHL hands down. Amazing to watch his skill and he gets better every year.
Lol. This is a nice video, he has a sucessful life because he does what he loves with passion. Crosby isn't a big star that tv portrays, people try to make him that, but he is just a person that loves the mental dance of hockey, when you do it for love vs ego, you become one. I don't think he ever wanted to be a star or famous, he just wants to play. I like the video bc it's a pure accurate picture of him doing what he loves. His personlity is different, quiet, but consitent quiet good personality. If he had a different personaliy, perhaps he wouldnt do so well in hockey. God doesn't make mistakes when designing his creations. His personality is Moe quiet than mine but, 2 of me would be 1 too many! If I were him, I would say, my hand is killing me, I would just carry sgned cards and explain I have to save my hand for the game. I'd say thank you for your support!!! Then I would smile and 👋. He was born to use his hands to play not sign things, he needs a body guard and someone to deal with the public to protect him. He does too much signing, all bc people want a piece of him, why not be less social and more focused on hockey, like he is. There is nothing wrong w sidney, he is a good boy. Not only dos his hand hurt, but he deals with people living him when he wins and hating him when he loses. Strong inernal locus of self control, parents and Cole harbor was good, very strong, intelligent both on and off ice as a man. I never stop wondering why or how people dislike him. Forget his hockey statistics, his personality and character alone, his intelliece,... If the guy never touched a puck in his life, he would sell be a superior catch to an employer, great son, good hymn being. I wish kids would stop trying to have his skills and look at his internal values... Just a thought. Stop picking him apart.
@canuck21 Yeah he's really stepped up his game this year, hopefully he keeps improving like he has over the past few years. Ovi seems to be working on becoming a better playmaker and two-way player (he still seems to be having difficulty backchecking into his defensive zone, something I don't like at all) this season and Sid's working on scoring more goals. With luck they'll both be good all-around players within a few years.
@bucketelite this was years ago. He's in the NHL now and played for Canada in the Vancouver 2010 Olympics (scored the golden goal). So yea, he made it.
3 years later, gets drafted as 1st overall pick to Pittsburgh in the NHL Draft. 4 years later, won the Stanley Cup as the youngest captain. 8 months later, score the game-winning goal in the 2010 Olympic Gold Medal game. The way I describe Sidney is "future Hall of Famer/ Canadian Hero". I can't wait to meet him on February 16, 2011. I have to meet the "Canadian Hero".
+valiante1998 I agree, but he doesn't play anymore. Gretzky skated with Crosby in LA at a NHL combine, pre-draft and was quoted as saying "He has what I had."
@Itachi1994 I think you need to do some stat research..... As what your saying does not make sense. They both went through the transition and Gretzky still out scored him till the end of his career. Gretzky entered the league in 79 and Yzerman in 83. There is not "old league" arguement between the two. The only "old league" arguement is wether or not someone cold post 215 points today.
@CrazymaniacFreak you cant say that hockey wasnt enjoyable when gretzky played. i mean it has gotten less physical but some of these goal scorers are just amazing and there still is a physical element to the game. especially the way the playoffs are going so far.
@footballstud1408 don't get me wrong I love pavel because I'm a huge wings fan, but you do have to remember if pavel played those extra 4 mins it doesn't mean he's gonna get a point I mean he could even end up with a minus. The skill crosby has is he plays those 23 mins a game and ends up with 2ppga, and doesn't get a minus with those extra 4, like a lot of nhl scoring stars do!
@ Habsfan0206, crosby'll never leave the pens because hes capitano and plus, the pen will be making the playoffs and winning championships for awhile i think
@xomellll10x3 as a caps fan, i get real irritated when ppl, anyone, not u, try to compare the two players... you simply cant do it. Dif positions, dif styles. I think he has all ready lived up to the hype and he is still only 23. So he has many more years to come. He could be the next Gr8 one. I would like him to win another Stanley Cup. He is all over an outstanding talent.
people can debate all they want about datsyuk or ovi being better but everyone should be able to agree that crosby has the best hand-eye coordination in front of goal, the tip-in goals he consistently gets are unbelievable, never seen anything like it
i dont get why people search for videos of sidney crosby if they hate him. if you think he sucks then why do you want to watch videos of him? it doesnt make sense. i think sidney crosby is the best player ever. he is so talented and has an amazing skill level :)
@svennybob because at the time in 2002 it was just family until CBC did the interview and the family gave it I guess .. and it was only appeared in 2007 on here.

Lol he's coached pretty well every nhler from this province from the last 25 years. MacKinnon, Marchand, killorn and MacIsaac also. He's an amazing coach.
Robbie glanz did and he just got down coaching me
he was my gym teacher in elementary lmao hes a beast

PavelGaborik he also coached kane, stammer and John scott

a statement which demonstrates unusual insight for his age
Dad taught him well
He’s literally been targeted with cheap shots since the age of 14. Incredible
I agree McGregor...the NHL has not protected the elite players like Crosby,McDavid etc.
Younger

none of the players you listed are better than crosby. league of his own
Lets see, Ovechkin, Benn, Taresenko, Kane, Pavelski, well, they scored more goals than Crosby now didn't they?!
what a great person this guy is
The funniest part is is that Sidney Crosby is the best player in the chel, people just don't like to admit it but it's the truth
