I have the Logitech G502 X Plus but seeing this comparison I think the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro is the better looking Gaming mouse and the RGB lighting zones are much nicer.
I definitely agree that the RGB on the basilisk and lighting zones look better, but only downside of that is that you are required to run Razer Sypnase in the background just to display your RGB effect. GHUB manages to let you do that, and let you store RGB effects into onboard memory without running software in the background. If only Razer could fix that, I would definitely think the basilisk v3 pro is the better “rgb” mouse. (I own both).
@@mysticqro950 I went for the basilisk and even though my local Best Buy got a bad batch and i had to buy 4 of them before i found one that wasn't defective, i'm super happy with it. The smart scroll wheel was the deciding factor, i have a logitech mouse at work with this feature and it's insanely handy for productivity. Glad you're loving both though :)
@@ntai_protagonist I mostly use my g502x mainly because I like GHUB better. Razer doesn’t have onboard memory for rgb, which is a bummer. GHUB let’s you store RGB, dpi, macros, custom effects, actions, commands, etc) into the mouse onboard memory. Razer on the other hand, you are required to run and use their software in the background for rgb & other things. Though, I gotta admit the v3 pro has better RGB, and better scroll wheel, and better specs (30k dpi, Bluetooth compatibility). And I like the design better. G502x has slightly better build quality and more buttons, LONGER battery life. In my opinion, I liked them both to keep them… you can’t go wrong with any of them, but I prefer to use my g502x most of the time because I think GHUB has been better for me, and offers many settings you can do with the mouse… that you can’t do with the Razer. It honestly depends what you prioritize? Software control? RGB? Feel? Button count? Specs? Scroll wheel?

I have both of the mice… and for some reason it took me longer to get used to the g502x… the placement of the left button on the thumb rest, feels kinda in the way. I end up always replacing the button with the grip cover anyways. For gaming it’s definitely took a while to get used to it. The Razer just feels more natural to hold. If you’re someone who desperately needs those extra buttons, go for it… but that’s just my opinion lol

not having the 2 buttons beside the left click is a deal breaker for me.....the g502 x is just far more superior
