Exactly right. It told both his team and Clemson he had no confidence left in winning the game. Terrible decision. Just line up with your offense and go for it next time. Fake FGs rarely ever work, especially against elite and well coached programs.

As an Alabama fan I totally get this joke but that case wasn't from Alabama it was from Kansas. Also Bear of Alabama was the first football coach to allow African American young men to play football in the SEC. But what you said was totally funny. And I doubt your team will ever lose a recruit that I'd be interested in watching any video much less commenting on it. I have no need to be right but your joke is also a lie because it implies something that's not true.

They are paying me $95 per hour, and the most desirable thing about that is the fact I am not that tech-savvy, they just required standard awareness of internet and common typing skill...The best thing about this is that I have more free time with my family. I am able to devote quality time with my friends and family and take care of my babies and also going on vacation with them very frequently. Trevor Lawrence is an absolute beast. A true freshman absolutely decimated what many considered to be the best Alabama team ever. He's got the awareness, arm strength, and the accuracy and he put those all on full display last night. He has set the bar high now for the next 2-3 years depending on when he wants to declare for the draft but there's no doubt in my mind that he's up for the challenge. I'm not sure if Clemson's offensive line is getting enough credit though. 0 sacks against an always vaunted Bama D-line with Williams who was considered to be the best overall player between the two teams. That line gave Lawrence time to scan the field and deliver dimes throughout the entire game.

If alabama's star players stayed there for 8 years like clemson's did it would be a different story but they in the nfl collecting that check. Walsh, Landry, Belichick, Bryant... if you are a great coach you will coach a lot of huge games, and if you are in enough of them a bad loss will happen eventually. It's called "body of work".

Been a Clemson fan since I was a kid, with whole family of Gamecocks fans, I had to be different. Born in '82, so wasn't even around for the '81 championship and never thought I'd see my Tigers win a Natty, much less two! Super proud, but I don't want this to go to their heads. Alabama got blown out bc they just expect to make plays and win just by showing up. Dabo and Brent out coached Saban, Clemson out played 'Bama, and the players just wanted it more. I don't want them to become complacent like 'Bama seems to be. And I really like Klatt, but the idea that Dabo allowed his team to overlook Notre Dame and prepare for 'Bama is absurd. You could argue that ND and Alabama are similar scheme wise (NOT talent wise), while Clemson and Oklahoma are not, and that helped Clemson prepare better, sure. But to insinuate Dabo brushed off ND is insanity. Last but not least, I hope this puts to rest the idea that ND didn't belong. Clemson beat Alabama by more than they beat ND. So in hindsight, the Irish were right where they should've been #GoTigers #Allin #NationalChamps

Important, you don't want to give an opponent a chance to breathe, a way to get back in the game. I can't speak for everyone, but maybe it had to do with being so closely scheduled to the NFL wildcard games that not everyone wanted to see it over the NFL games. Maybe it could have something to do with how bad officiating has gotten (the most incidental of contacts can be called "targeting" now)

Bama needs to fix the secondary defense and shore up the O line with players who can protect and move the defense back. The O line needs to get in the weight room. You could also see for the past few games Bama has been off a bit and not in sink as though they were waiting to be crowned instead of being hungry for the win.

Did anyone not see that Tua had the same amount of incompletions as Lawrence (Tua: 22 of 34; Lawrence 20 of 32...both 12 incompletions). The only difference is Clemson in position to get Interceptions and Clemon's Wideouts with Circus hands to make off throws look amazing. I know it's the popular thing to pile on the loser, but Tua was not terrible. Now, the Bama's Offensive pass protection was terrible and Clemson's D-Line was Excellent. Tua did what he could under bad circumstances.

Alabama got outcoached because they believe their own bull$#it hype. ESPN et all sucked up to Bama all year long and kept telling everyone what a juggernaut they were, blah blah blah. So big surprise, Bama's players and coaches began to believe it. They just had to show up and opposing teams would wilt before their magnificence. The only equally quality team Bama played all year was Georgia and they gave up 28 and won in the last frame by 7. Alabama never had to gut out a win all year (saving Georgia) and so when they got punched in the face and saw a better team across the field, they didn't rise to the occasion.

Georgia last season, Clemson last season, Florida/Texas in 2009, Florida in 2010, LSU in 2011, LSU in 2015 just off the top of my head were teams that had at least equal talent.

Skiiiip haha Tua had a great game, both Ints were made based on anticipation from watching film(not panicked throws), but the Defense disguised the coverage so well. He took Bama into the Redzone on almost every drive but I personally feel like the OC had a lack of creativity in the RZ for Bama. Trevor Lawrence on the other hand had a great game as well but also had more time in the pocket, his WRs also showed up big time last night. The game was simply lost at the LOS, Clemson was too dominant on both side of the ball at the LOS. Alabama is only going to get better from this loss, they'll be even better next year.

JusAnothaCritiK yup, ppl say Tua looked rattled by the pressure but really I thought he looked good other than the 2 picks. And both weren't because of panicked throws but more the d reading his eyes and the 2nd one Tua just trying to force a play downfield. Bama offense moved the ball almost every drive, they just couldn't convert in the red zone.
