Death - Flesh and the Power it Holds (orchestral cover)

- I wanted to try Symphobia 2 so I made this orchestral arrangement for "Flesh and the Power it Holds" by Death, one of my all time favorite metal band. I wanted to add more textures and dynamics to the arrangement but my crappy computer could barely handle a limited amount of tracks, anyways, I hope you like it.
VSTi's used:
Symphobia 2 (ProjectSAM)
True Strike (ProjectSAM) - Видеоклипы
thank you all for your kind comments!, I really appreciate it. Here is the flute solo played by Dora ruclips.net/video/1Ss3xc4Sqg0/видео.html , if you wanna hear it with the real thing!
Chuck was a genius.
indeed
Chuck would be proud.
thank you :)
Who is chuck?
@@babybuddah187 Chuck Schuldiner was the core member of Death, vocalist and guitarist.
Unfortunately he is no longer with us. It would have been awesome to see more Death albums.
@@babybuddah187 the greatest genius to ever touch a guitar
Orchestral covers of Death is another form of art. Pure eargasm
These covers really show the genius of Deaths composition.
As a Death and classical music fan, this is so universal and awesome! Thanks
More enjoyable than a Metallica orchestration, very dramatic!
an entire video game sound track in 8 minutes
Video game? That's an insult, this is more like art
@@donaldvazquez5230 you say that like video games aren't fucking awesome. Death actually made a song for a video game.
@Sen Vanmassenhove cosmic sea from human. Its in a game called Damage Incorporated.
It sounds like a sound track to a big budget movie . Well done ! I hope this will open peoples mind as to what metal music can offer.
This is how I hear all death's albums..freaking awesome
Still fascinated by this Version. I listen to this at least once a month. It Always reminds me why i love death, Metal and classical music.
Chuck's music deserved to heard like this...cheers to you sir...I hope he hears this.
Play it louder..!!
I can imagine a rpg with dragons, swords and blood. Hahahaha good job bro.
It's so cool man I love you for making this! Finally my mom can listen to this as well
haha thank you! :)
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I was cutting the grass in my backyard, I turned on this song and now my grass clipper turned into a zulfikar sword
Excellent job! I know personally how challenging this is ; ). It's a lot of fun to play with different textures and timbres in the music of Death. I really like the woodwind arpeggios at 3:44. and those big timpanis! I always meant to do an orchestration of this, but that long slow interlude was so intimidating, LOL
Thank you!, I actually got the motivation to do this after watching your "Without Judgement" version, and yes that interlude was definitely intimidating haha, specially the guitar solo which I tried to replicate exactly as the original with the flute but didn't quite work lol
@@nathanoises that without judgement video is legendary
Yo theandric
It's like chase scene in a horror movie in some sections, And it gives me "revealing the villains inventions" in others
The intro gave me john williams style vibes
Awesome how Death's music translates to orchestral so naturally. Really validates the genius behind the music composer/song writer Chuck and all the other great musicians he played with. These are the reasons as to why Death/Control Denied is my all time favorite band. Their music really tells a story in every song. It's also as real as it gets. Chuck had the self taught free flowing play style which really allowed him to stick out with a unique sound only he truly had.
Nathan A. You have brought this 60 year old metal HEAD to his fucken knees....well done. Chuck smiles upon you as you carry his legacy to a new level. OUTSTANDING.....
Much needed I would say.... Chuck will be proud of you
pure genius! pure genius Loyd! where did u learned a scam like this! aah well I saw it a movie once...
It's wonderful, make some more, please!
Great job, dude ! Cheerz from France.

Really hoping that's ARNOLDDDDD and not Conan O'Brian
“That is good!”
@@diekrahe. there is only one "Conan" and the OP made that pretty clear didn't he
Como diríamos aquí en Chile: "te quedó la raja". Amazing Job!
LET THE METAL FLOW!
Best kind of tribute for poor Chuck Schuldiner.
This is a beautiful rendition. Really shows how classical music is one of the biggest inspirations for metal music
Bro, this lit sounds like a rpg final boss theme
vale bro
That solo, uhm zolo, on flute is genious, wouldnt have predicted that instrument choice, but it is so fitting. This would be an awesome concert if this were to happen
wow... goosebumps all over me. cheers from the philippines.
You've arranged the interlude SO perfectly. The rest of it sounds a bit too synthetic but man that interlude is masterfully done.
