    lovely pattern, bussy using it for a baby blanket .. but I prefer without turning around. It's called "Mosaic or trebling granny square" ;)

      Turning is the correct way to do this one .... stops the square going skewiff lol

    Could you make this into 1 big square or do you think it is best to make a lot of little squares and join them together.

      I made mine into a large square for a blanket, then added the twisted shell border, but I am also making some smaller squares to join....both work out well but the large one has the added bonus of not needing to join, and less ends to work in :)

      I carried on with the square, working the same increase in the corners until it was a baby size blanket.

      Turning the work over on any granny square will help the work lay nice and flat and also keep it's shape. Thank you for your comments.

    I feel that your nails get in the way as I’m unable to see the stitches as to how you crochet . As a beginner, it’s difficult to see your stitch as they are not visible.

      Sorry you have found this tutorial hard to follow, maybe one of my beginner tutorial will be better suited to your needs, just checked through the video and I cannot see anytime my nail covers the hook, but thank you for your comment. Happy crocheting.

      Alternate rows are worked on the other side, that is the design.

      Hi there, it is SOOOO easy to slow the video down, just click on the settings cog, then click speed, then choose how slow you want it to go :) Also you can pause the video to catch up too , happy crochetting

      Click settings cog then speed.... slow the video down to whatever you can work along with. Some people can only crochet slow like you, slowing the video down will help you a lot, try .5 speed, happy crafting :)

      Did you realise you can slow down video with settings ? Just click the cog and change the speed, simple, no video is too fast lol

      Yes in settings you can change the speed , I find .75 slows it down enough but you could take it down to .5

      Yes I am in the UK and most people here prefer the US terms .... there is no rule about which terms to use I go with the majority and my followers all prefer US. Thank you for your question.
