What fish line and brand do you recommend to use for bass trout and crappie fishing? And what lb test? I’m going fishing this year again and I want the best line I can get.
Hello Sharon how are you I would recommend the brand of sunlight is which I use I use it a lot in tournaments and also it be in 6 lb test fluorocarbon which would be good for crappie and trout now for bass I want to bump it up a little bit 12 lb test is good and if you're in a boat fishing with baitcaster Me and Bobby are using crankbaits and etcetera you might want to bump it up to 15 lb test braid I use Spider wire I feel it's the best braid out there been using it for many many many many many many many many many many years and has never failed me really cast super long braid is really good for your tough conditions I recommend 20 lb test if you doing any topwater fishing with a baitcasting rod and reel topwater in a medium heavy for your Rod I would definitely use 65 lb test braid I hope this helps you out a lot these are the lines I would absolutely recommend hi again hope this helps you out wishing you a good fishing season and go get them God bless
You need to use lighter line for trout, Sharon, like 4 to 8 pound test at the most. I use 8 or 10 pound test for crappie and 12-20 pound test for bass. XPS line from Bass Pro is about as good as you can find and less expensive than a lot of the rest. Have fun. May God Bless. jimmy
