Well, isn’t this exciting everyone, Charlotte Tilbury has a new foundation stick and I have it here to try with you for the very first time today. I will be following the entire routine that Charlotte recommends to use with this to see how all of the base products work together. Plus I will be adding in one of the new cream blush and lip, cheek tints. Cannot wait to see how this will work. I did not think this looked good at first BUT wow by the end you look younger brighter and just beautiful. I’m 66 yrs old with good skin so I may try this. Thank you. Look forward to tomorrow s changes

I think the serum and glowy primers didn't do the foundation stick any favours, especially as you said you have an oily tzone - you've started with VERY glowy base :)
I agree, it you watch part 2 I tried this with a matte base but still found it too glowy ❤
Oh my word that's GLOWY. I was a bit like errrm...until you powdered it then it looked LOVELY. Shows that one has to consider the whole look! I also appreciated you showing the bronzer - I'm interested in getting that one.

Great video as always Hannah thank you. I do like a glowy/dewy base but boy is that one glowy! Looks so much better with powder on top I think. I really love that cheek and lip shade and it looks beautiful on you. I think that will be going on my wish list along with the bronzer and bronzer brush. Looking forward to part two tomorrow ❤❤

I love CT products but I’ll skip this one. Too much prep, too much shine and then to add powder to calm the look. That seems to defeat the purpose. I don’t know who this product is for, to be honest. Such excessive glow doesn’t look natural. This is just a bit too fussy for me.

Mine arrived today in Shade 3 - from a very quick try on it looks like the flawless filter in stock form to me. I think it might be dupable (Maybelline 4 in 1?) I’m going to try tomorrow with less hydration underneath and lock it in with spray and powder
I think it fills pores more and is slightly less glowy that the filter but I’ll go a side by side test for tomorrow ❤️
@@hanbeauty101 I had a bad make up day as I started with Tatcha silk spf which is stopping anything blending right today so I need a fresh attempt tomorrow!
@@beerachaelah that’s a shame, I haven’t had any issues with that spf but I’ve only used it a few times (saving it as it’s so pricey)

So I've nearly finished my flawless filter and i think i might try this but use it as i use the flawless filter. As a stand a lone foundation it wouldn't work for me

What’s the point of using a matt primer and a powder on, just to reduce the glow? It’s definitely too glow! It looks more like a highlighter to me ☹️. I love CT, but I’m afraid it’s an easy pass for me this time
I agree it does defeat the purpose of the foundation in many ways but I do like the glow from beneath which comes through. You’ll see this in my part 2 video where I added my late night check in ❤

Looks too greasy
It isn’t greasy, but it is definitely too glowy to use as a foundation for me
I think the whole look is too shiny and for some reason it also emphsizes pores and gives the illusion of imperfection. It's so emollient and glowy on its own that I'd use my regular skin care underneath, and use Danessa Myricks blurring balm on top instead of powder.
That said, I have an oily T Zone like you, and I'll be skipping this product. To get a sheer summer look, I'm using Perricone MD Cold Plasma for Face with SPF in it. Then layering Perricone Tinted Moisturizer. The moisturizer has no specific color because it simply oxidizes on your face and warms and blurs the complexion. Then I skip foundation. It gives me a subtle glow without too much shine. If I want more shine, I mix the Chantecaille Bronze and Rose Face Tints instead of foundation. Same DM on top instead of powder.
Did you get both of the Pillowtalk colors in the Island Glow? I'd love to see those. The others are too bright for me. But you look gorgeous in that lip and blush shade. And you got a good look overall after the powder.

I got all the new lip and cheek shades so I’ll show the other 4 tomorrow in part 2. I love the sound of your new routine. It sounds very lightweight and flattering ❤️
@@hanbeauty101 That's what I like year round, really. I'm not afraid of color. But I work hard on my skin, so I'm more inclined to spot conceal vs. wearing even medium coverage makeup. The heaviest I have is Chantecaille Future Skin. I hope you got at least one of the Pillowtalk shades in that blush/liptint. Those interest me the most. And the finish of that product was beautiful on you.💚
