I think the "toss an enchanted book through an ender portal to get a new dimension" could actually be a really, *really* cool feature. Obviously you'd have to tone it down a bit to maybe twenty or thirty dimensions tops - but each dimension could have a different theme, gimmick, and four or five new mobs. It'd be a lot of work, but a total game-changer.
Okay falling into the void in the end and jus ending up somewere in the overworld would be a really cool feature, imagine the new highway systems. Or even if it would randomly drop you at cords youve never been

the BFC 9000 crossbow is a refrence to the superpowerful weapon BFG 9000 (or Big [redacted] gun) from the doom games

with all the features they have had they should make a snapshot version that gets updated sometimes with all crazy fun jokes they have had over the years, would be kind of fun to play around with em'.
also the chat idea looks fun, seeing the Mojang team talk to each other seems very entertaining, especially when they joke around

I know some of these items, like the Reality Vision Goggles in 6:00, because as we may know, it's one of the items that was once added into Minecraft and then sadly got removed for whatever reason.

The chicken: peace was never an option
I rather like the idea of hostile chickens in the base game. Basically, there could be a small chance for a non-aggressive mob, like the chickens, pigs, etc. to fight back when you hurt them. And gather their nearby homies to swarm you. It would make the early game more difficult, but on the other hand, it could make farming for resources easier later on.

I would love if they kept in the possibility of getting an elder guardian while fishing. Not with every cast of course, make it very rare so it can be a funny thing that happens and a way for players to get a sponge if they can’t find an ocean monument.

Probably my favourite April Fools updates (that I've played) are the 1.16 Infinite Dimensions update and the 1.18 One Block at a Time update.

I absoblutely loved this super helpful video. During the time of the update, these tips really helped my game. So sad Mojang removed them.
I remember almost every thing that Skip talked about and yes Ankle Monitor being kinda annoying and creeper then love an then beat Minigame and beaten game
