I'm still kinda new to magic (~1 year paper) and only would've thought of the Dark Depths & Thespian Stage combo and would've been scolded for not knowing Depths is banned in Modern.. 😅 Disregarding I wouldn't have lived three turns anyway. Must be fun to come up with strats for four card modern when you have the game knowledge.
I was thinking Hallowed Fountain, Hallowed Fountain, Mana Tithe, and Thassa’s Oracle would be my stack. In such a mana limited environment, Force Spike seems great, and resolving Oracle is obviously an auto-win
I am the Thassa's Oracle guy. We both players are Casual EDH players without real Modern Knowledge and we only had 1 minute to think about the cards. Of course there will be better choices, but for me coming up with the idea of playing a thassa's oracle was just divine inspiration xD. TYSM Carl, Jamin, and Thoralf for the opportunity and the price! You guys are amazing. Keep it on!
I am not ashamed to say that I got so invested in the Dreadmaw Race that I legit gasped out loud when this gold-shirted, gold-mustachioed Arthurian hero pulled the card from his wallet like Excalibur from the stone. Entire sagas will be told for decades to come about the bejeweled one walking conventions halls, ready to heed the dreadmaw's call in our hour of need 😁
If only he had been the one to be challenged at the start, I was fully expecting for the guy that didn't run to reach for his wallet and pull a dreadmaw
Just running around being agents of chaos; I love it. It would be fun to organize a convention event based around this idea: roaming judges can pop in to your games at any time to add twists and put surprise bonus prize bounties on certain game actions.
This vid was heartwarming, it's so nice to see so many people having fun while playing MtG or doing something MtG related, and you guys also giving money away? I want to believe none of these was staged and you really made those people's day
This is why you guys are one of the best Magic the Gathering RUclips Channel. All fun, creative and interactive stuffs happened on any of your videos. Keep entertaining!!
What a great idea for an episode! Loved the guy with a Dreadmaw in his wallet (I used to have a Ragavan token tucked in with my work badge)! But what I dodn't understand is, "More Ultimate Guard boxes than you will ever need." Is that even possible?
Always love the clever stuff you guys do! It makes me wish we had this kind of ingenuity in other game genres. I'd love to see someone doing this sort of thing for casual matches at a fighting game tournament.
Was really good to meet Jamin and Carl at MC:B, even if it was right as they were running for a plane! Jamin signing one of my cards was great, but nothing can top the amazing alter of Archaeomancer that Carl did for me. Pride of place in any deck.
That was a lot of fun! I can't believe they found some dude with a Dreadmaw in his wallet. Also, I was thinking of Thassa's Oracle, Chancellor of the Tangle, Island, and Manamorphose for my 4 Modern cards.
We picked a table at random. It just happened to be one where Malone is really good at being the monarch 😅 there were tables with content creators playing all over the free play area :)
Imagine you have been running around with a Colossal Dreadmaw in your wallet for YEARS. Your friends have been making fun of it ever since you started doing it, but you just kept on, convinced by divine providence you will some day be rewarded for it. Then two frantic blokes with cameras come running up to you, ask if you have a Colossal Dreadmaw on hand, give you 20 quid, and leave.
Dreadmaw was in a few sets, not sure if anyone would have had M19 packs (lol), also in jumpstart 22 (if ur lucky enough to hit dino) and Masters 25, though Masters 25 would have been for sure rolling the dice for their return on investment. what a great challenge. of all the Dreadmaws I have, I don't often bring any with me to conventions! Edit: how nuts how that guy had one in his wallet, absolutely insane luck!
Get a Yourself a wallet Dreadmaw here:
www.cardmarket.com/Magic/Cards/Colossal-Dreadmaw/Versions
You guys have it for one cent meaning 25$ buys 2,500 colossal dread-maws I’d take that over lotus petal any day
@@angrypotato2526 Now that's my kind of math! 🥳
I always carry a Colossal Dreadmaw in my phonecase :) Best card
I feel like you should try this with a scornful egotist now that’s a challenge
You have over 50 000 of those, that is insane.
I'm pretty sure that the artist of Colossal Dreadmaw had a booth. If only they'd gone to the man himself!
I just checked! You Are Correct! What a twist that would have been 🤯
Lmao the thassas oracle win is gold 😂
i was thinking a deck of: plains, ephimerate, grief and any black card, if you go first it's auto win
Awesome!
Honestly, only Thoracle win ive ever cheered for xD

That man is right. You never know when you are going to need your dreadmaw
How many people are going to start carrying one in their wallet cause of that xD
i am tbh
I keep 3 pokemon cards in the back of my phone case. Slakoth, Slowpoke, and Swirlix
@@Kokonutzlz Oh, I see, a SSS player.
@@Kokonutzlz I keep a Berserk Gorilla and a Slaking in mine haha

You did great!
It's very difficult to come up with things when you have so little time, no preparation, AND cameras pointed at you!
The guy with the dreadmaw in his wallet is so awesome! Haha

@@TekarusameI actually have one in my Atla Palani deck, so it'd have been wayyy too easy for me.
truly a moment of legend
That guy opened that dreadmaw and thought “this will be useful one day” and just kept it on him
The prophecy began that day
You guys should do a video where you try all the magic mini-games that are appearing on the token cards in booster packs!
That sounds really fun! I'll put it on the list :)
The Dreadmaw race is so funny
This is one of the funniest videos you've done 😂
It was also one of the funnest to do! :D
That dude with the Colossal Dreadmaw in his wallet is my new MTG Hero!
I love the Thassa's Oracle play. Genius
This is why I would go to a MTG convention, just to try and be a part of these reels
This is why I always carry with me a colossal dreadmaw
Hopefully we run into you at the next magiccon!
We need more stuff like this
Oh my GOD that IS Brian Kibler!!!!
MTG Malone always being the monarch was funny
He is the dark lord so it's understandable
All hail King Malone!
Does he know he is in the video?!
Probably 🤔 he did leave with 120€, but we should let him know 😅
@@CardmarketMagic you definitely should! Be a great opportunity to cross promote and to see Jamin sweat in another game of EDH
IN HIS WALLET! what an absolute legend

The editing here is amazing lol
Thank you :)
This video was awesome. Great fun to watch. I bet it was fun as hell to make.
It was :)
This was so much fun to watch, keep up the work!
Thank you :) I'm happy you enjoyed it
Super fun video! Great idea, I'd love to see more like this when you get a chance!
So happy and full of joy. Always a blast to watch your guys' energy!

Thabk you :) that is such a kind thing for you to say
You, guys, just bursting with enthusiasm
Guerilla content done right!
Really wish our country have Magic events like this
Always great to see you guys having fun!
good job with the sabotages! so much fun, wholesome gift-giving, and friend-making!
Seeing Jamin and Toffle standing next to each other is weird. Never realized how tall Jamin is/how short Toffle is.
7:37 "This is five commander cards!" LOL
Props to the guy with a dreadmaw in his wallet. I used to carry around a Vizzerdrix in mine for the same reason
Very fun and creative video, with some cameos from familiar faces! Wish there was more
What a great idea for an episode! Loved the guy with a Dreadmaw in his wallet (I used to have a Ragavan token tucked in with my work badge)! But what I dodn't understand is, "More Ultimate Guard boxes than you will ever need." Is that even possible?
That one guy almost got 170 credit for monarch if not for Thoralf's intervention! Man's certainly making money like a monarch! 😂
Bro the dude with the card in his wallet is a giga chad
Came back to make sure I liked the video. Good on you guys for making some many people's days.
Thank you for adding the extra effort to make sure you help us with the content :) it's appreciated
GREAT VIDEO! I wouldn't hold it against Cardmarket to make any video 8 minutes and sneak a midroll to support the creators
at 1:06, that's @MasterOfMonoBlack / MTG Malone cameo! nice.
The chaotic energy from this video feels stronger than any stress a tournament like this can impose one you. So much fun to watch!
The guy was waiting his whole life to someone to ask for a dreadmaw
Always love the clever stuff you guys do! It makes me wish we had this kind of ingenuity in other game genres. I'd love to see someone doing this sort of thing for casual matches at a fighting game tournament.
The chances that some random guy comes running up to you demanding a Colossal Dreadmaw may be low, but they're never zero.
What a smash hit of a video and great idea. Definitely would like to see more.
It’s been endlessly entertaining seeing this channel grow.
Thank you :) I'm happy you enjoyed it! It was so fun for us to make as well
lmao the poor guys you sent out to search the dreadmaw
really funy video enjoyed it a lot would like to see more in the future
You just gotta love those videos. Amazing and super entertaining 😂
So much fun. Be awesome to see you guys !
That was ULTRA FUN!!! Especially the Dreadmaw hunt.
I'm happy you enjoyed it :) we had so much fun filming it!
Everyone is having such a good time in this video! Love it!
This is so heart warming. I love this community
OH DAMN THATS BRIAN KIBLER!
The amount of Jesper Ejsing cards in this video makes my soul happy

I remember that archeomancer! :D thank you for letting me alter it with my 2/10 art skills 😅 it was a pleasure meeting you :)
there are very few people on youtube who manage to be both funny and nice. you guys are the best.
That monarch table is every trilogy ever. We see it in Star Wars, LotR, and now in real life Magiccon
Seeing MTG Malone was so cool haha.
GET OUTTA HEEEEEERE! MTG Malone being the monarch is the most MTG Malone thing ever 🤣 i watch his videos when i need a good laugh
This was chaotic in the best possible way.
7:30 holy Saprolings Batman, That's not one, but two women playing magic! I thought they only existed on RUclips!
There were actually quite a few women at the magiccon! The community is growing and finally starting to slowly shift towards its natural quota :)
This video is sublime. I love it. Thank you.
Genius Thoracle play
God the chaptic energy of this video is insane, love it
Loved the idea with the 4 cards
The chaotic energy is so good! All it was missing was Carl wearing his top hat.
This is such an amazing video! It looked like so much fun💜
Ending theme is still such a banger. Love that they had the dreadmaw in their wallet too! I keep one and a crushing canopy in mine XD
Oooh keep it with you for if ever you go to a Magiccon :D if you see us running around with cameras, it might be your lucky day!
That was a lot of fun! I can't believe they found some dude with a Dreadmaw in his wallet.

Mono blue Doomsday, with spectral sailor. NICE!
The omg that's Brian Kibler bit had me rolling
I wish I could hang out with you guys all day, this video looks so fun!
If you see us at a magiccon, come say hi :D we might also send you on a wild chase and run after you with cameras
These type of videos are great!
Beautiful chaos.
I honestly said out loud “they are gonna have the Dino in a wallet or as a good luck charm” and it wasn’t a surprise that much
Awesome vid! The Dreadmaw hunt was epic 😅
I feel like I'd be too star struck to follow the instructions.
This was a good one

Da Real MVP with the cards in their wallet 😂😂😂💯
Putting that in his wallet.. what a hero.
That island and dreadmaw in the wallet was crazy😂
Dreadmaw guy is a legend
Keep sharing smiles and laughs.
The Brian Kibler pause was so funny to me.
this video is why for the last 4 months I have kept a dreadmaw in my wallet. never stay unarmed
Thassa's Oricle killed me because my thought process was quite literally, "Okay, Mountain, Ragavan.... wait a sec, Thassa's!
If i see Jamin in person, I think the first thing I would do is give him a biiig hug. He looks so huggable.😆
this was hysterical! i love it
love this content, cheers gentlemen!
Haha that guy with the thassa's Oracle was a genius
MTGMalone is the monarch anyway!
Not to spoil the video, but he did indeed find a way to always be the monarch 😅 anything for cash
