Please when filling the given names section in the ds260 form, im worried about inputing my 2 first names and my middle name because they are lengthy and they have spaces between them.

Not that the form has a set time to open, but it may still be early for the DS-260s to be available. Remember that the results were just released a couple of days ago. So leave the form and return much later. (There's no harm in doing that). It may be available by then.

Red arrows indicate errors. Check for any/all possible errors and correct them; also enter you case number without the leading zeros; and make sure you tick the little box above by clicking in it to indicate that you read the notice concerning the SSS. Do all these before submitting.

There's a little box on the left side of the SSS notice. Click in it to tick it. That should settle the issue. (Also be sure not to include the initial zeros in your case number when entering it on the sign and submit page as requested).

He will explain them and the good thing is that, they are also human beings. They know the situation in some countries and people. Your brother is not the first to be with an expired passport and he is not the one who made the passport to expire before interview time. I wish you and your brother the best of luck .

No, not a year! If you're an applicant of the DV 2023 Program, then you should complete the form as soon as possible as the Program kicks off next week. And do not concern yourself with that date. It has nothing to do with submitting the form.

There's no affidavit of support fee. If you are selected, you must have a sponsor i.e. a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident who will file an affidavit of support on your behalf or demonstrate by other means (finance or a logical plan) that you will not become a public charge upon arriving in the U.S.
It's probably because you didn't submit the form. So follow the instructions on the final page and do that; the confirmation will appear on the screen right after you submit.
Sorry, I don't. But you could "practice" with the real form. You're not obliged to submit the form right away. Save it as you fill it out, log out when you wish, return later and verify the info you've entered, make corrections if necessary and then save again. You could do that for as long as is necessary - until you are finally satisfied, then submit.

It shouldn't, as long as you have a 'valid' reason for the difference. Moreover, there are times when selectees are not even required to present their high school degree.

In the applicant information table, you will find the names and status of both spouses; as well as the links to their respective DS-260s. Follow the procedure explained, and complete each one's DS-260. The DS-260 forms of the married are separate forms to be completely separately.

And most times, that is assessed by the successful completion of a state or regional examination. The confusion (like what you're experiencing) usually comes in when it's foreign exams. What is acceptable at one embassy may not be at another.

It seems you didn't respond to the notice on FGM. There's a brief paragraph before you go through the signing and submitting 'formalities'. Click in the little box beside it (to tick it) to indicate that you read the notice. That's when you'll be able to submit the form. Good luck!
It's called the OMB form expiration date. Official forms of the US government generally have it. The date is for administrative purpose only and does not concern your DS-260 submission.

hello, i recently submitted a ds-260 form and i think i made some mistakes. When I described the last 3 jobs of my the last 10 years at the following question ,if they needed at least 2 years of experience I answered yes, without checking the American site on qualifying jobs; for example i have been 3 years Resturant manager, and in Italy you need at least 2 years of experience to do it, will this result in the refusal of my ds-260? My present employ is in a restaurant in Italy, where i am the restaurant manager and there is a question on the Ds-260 :"Does this job require at least 2 years of training of experience?" I answered yes, with all the duties and i did the same with my previously jobs: -Bar manager -administrative officer. only today i saw the list of jobs of the US Department of Labor, and none of my works are on that list that should qualify me for the DV visa. calculating that I should be qualified to the dv visa with my level of education, in fact to the box: "Number of educational institutions attended" I answered "3" -1 diploma at the vocational school (5 years) - 1 diploma at another vocational school -- a school of higher education attended with its final certificate. my "incorrect" answers related to my work, could cause me problems? I'm not acquainted with said certificate. If it's the equivalent of a U.S. high school education (which normally takes 12 years to complete), then it's acceptable. If it's less, then no.

The DS-260 is a smart form. Your initial answers (personal information) determine the parts that come afterwards. If you're single for example, you won't have parts (questions) relating to a spouse or family.
I have one question Sir. I applied dv lottery last year and am waiting result on May 7th. Am married and I applied it as married. If I win should I fill the ds260 thou I didnt get yet my marriage certificate, or I should first get the marriage certificate and fill it afterwards.

If you ever lived in that country more than 6 months or have ever committed anything illegal then yes you need pcc from that country otherwise skip

What happened if I didn't play with a child or children, what do I do while filling out the ds 260 form?
Still add their name . It will help faster the process when u later file for them cus they already have their name on file.

It's called the OMB form expiration date. Official forms of the US government generally have it. The date is for administrative purpose only and does not concern your DS-260 submission.

hello, i recently submitted a ds-260 form and i think i made some mistakes. When I described the last 3 jobs of my the last 10 years at the following question ,if they needed at least 2 years of experience I answered yes, without checking the American site on qualifying jobs; for example i have been 3 years Resturant manager, and in Italy you need at least 2 years of experience to do it, will this result in the refusal of my ds-260? My present employ is in a restaurant in Italy, where i am the restaurant manager and there is a question on the Ds-260 :"Does this job require at least 2 years of training of experience?" I answered yes, with all the duties and i did the same with my previously jobs:
-Bar manager
-administrative officer.
only today i saw the list of jobs of the US Department of Labor, and none of my works are on that list that should qualify me for the DV visa.
calculating that I should be qualified to the dv visa with my level of education, in fact to the box: "Number of educational institutions attended" I answered "3"
-1 diploma at the vocational school (5 years)
- 1 diploma at another vocational school
-- a school of higher education attended with its final certificate.
my "incorrect" answers related to my work, could cause me problems? It would be better to correct the Ds260 by answering the question "Does this job require 2 years of training?" NO?

I'm not acquainted with said certificate. If it's the equivalent of a U.S. high school education (which normally takes 12 years to complete), then it's acceptable. If it's less, then no.

The DS-260 is a smart form. Your initial answers (personal information) determine the parts that come afterwards. If you're single for example, you won't have parts (questions) relating to a spouse or family.

I have one question Sir. I applied dv lottery last year and am waiting result on May 7th. Am married and I applied it as married. If I win should I fill the ds260 thou I didnt get yet my marriage certificate, or I should first get the marriage certificate and fill it afterwards.
When to fill out the DS-260 depends on you; you don't need your marriage certificate to do so.

Dear sir, i have also one question that my younger brother has been selected and when he was applying for dv lottery at that time his passport was not expire and recently his pasport expired, and now taking new passport take 5 to six months in afghanistan, now can i submit ds 260 on this expired pasport or. If i can extend my passport for two or three years then can i submit ds 260 form by two years time extended passport?
Note: up to the interview time i will try to make my new pasport and will take to interview along with expired one.
