Great Saints tribute as always! With your next one when you get the chance Henry Pollock and Tom Litchfield are the future for Saints. Both playing in the derby against Leicester Tigers this weekend! Keep the content coming!
Thanks, Jonathon. It's so much fun to make a Saints tribute: the way they play gives me so many options in the editing. I can tell you love a bit of Litchfield. Tell you what, I'm covering Alex Coles next because he's my favourite forward in the Prem. I'll cover Litchfield after him. Your support and requests are always appreciated. All the best for tomorrow's game! 😇
Good job of capturing the fact that Ollie’s as comfortable with the physical confrontation as well as using his speed in open spaces. One thing I think that’s less well known is how good he is in defence. He hits hard and jackals exceptionally well to win ball or slow the opposition down.
@@cosmojames7710 Thank you, James! My thinking was that there are already plenty of videos highlighting his attacking prowess, so why not focus more on his defense? That tackle on Bassett in particular showcases how good his work-rate is off the ball. Thanks for watching and commenting. Hopefully I'll see you in the comments again soon!
The clip against New Zealand where he burns Reece is so refreshing. He’s an out and out wing. I know being good at kick chase and defence matters, but sometimes you just need someone with straight line speed to scare an opposition. Sleightholme has that.
@@darthmaul408 Beautifully said, mate. Technical mastery can only be so important when raw talent like Sleights exists. Dare I say he has a touch of Jason Robinson about him. Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@glen9593 Thanks, Glen! I completely agree. It's a shame that England haven't had any fixtures against Tier 2 nations during the summer like Canada and USA in 2021. I would say that's the perfect place to unleash Sleights, but he came off the bench against NEW ZEALAND and bossed it. So what do I know? 😂 Appreciate your support as always!
His dad was a fine winger so he's got pedigree. But the only opportunity he got for Eng in NZ (probably 5 mins game time) he took with both hands...he's def ready for Test Rugby.
Well said, Derek. Talent is clearly genetic in that family. You raise a good point that he made first impressions count. I'd love to see him and Roebuck on the wings against the Barbarians or a fixture of a similar ilk. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Personally I think he's the best winger in England that is probably a minority view however i think he is a better finisher than both Freeman and Waboso the current first choices. By the way i think Freeman is a terrific player however i think he could be an even better 13 than wing in fact it might be the case with Waboso as well.
yeah wouldn't mind seeing Freeman at 13 with Sleighholme and FW on the wings. Problem is Lawrence is by far England's best 13 atm and doesn't shine as much at 12
I don't think that's even an opinion; I'd argue it's fact. His ability to finish from long-range is arguably better than almost every other player in the league. I was amazed by how many brilliant tries he gave me to work with. As for Freeman, I completely agree. He expressed interest in wanting to play as many positions as possible on the For Love of Rugby podcast, so it won't be long before we see experiments occur. There is a tribute of Freeman on here from a while back. Feel free to check it out. Thanks for your comment!
@@philipeafroboy1 You lose a lot of offloading threat by placing Lawrence at 12. Now with Dingwall allegedly injured, will Borthwick move him to 13 to accommodate a natural 12? Thanks for your comment!
@@tigerclarence1248 Ha! That's justified. I feel the same as a Chiefs fan. A great player until he scores against you. 😂 Thanks for watching and commenting, mate. There's a few Quins tributes on here if you're interested!

As slick as the man himself.
We probably should've seen a bit more of him in an England shirt with his form over the last couple of years.

Without a doubt, England and Northampton 's best winger, should be a starter for England
