A request, do give names of rivers which you cross, especially with wider banks. Tungabhadra is a sacred river for AP and Karnataka residents. Great seer Raghvendra Swami resided / samadhi on the banks this river but Mantralaya. A station on Chennai Mumbai Route. This could be a reason, an important river, for naming train Tungabhadra Express.
Bellary is important for Hampi capital city of Vijaynagar Dynasty. Hospet a steelcity of South. Crossed Tungabhadra river after Hospet.
Gadag Is birthplace of Pt. BHIMSEN JOSHI, renowed Hindustani classical singer, got Divya Drishti at Mantralaya.

Train is super fast upto Kachiguda but being diesel route onwards upto Yeshwanthpur via a far longer Gadag Hubli route it slows down to cover interior Karnataka area as well.
Yeah! The best non Rajadhani, Duranto upto Hyderabad. They have ruined this train to cover Karnataka... Hardly people board this train after Kacheguda.. who wants to travel banglore 20 hours 😂
@@shashanknarayan5929 And to cover Karnataka in earnest, this train should have been diverted via Karnataka express route after Guntakal to cover Raichur and Kalaburagi. The current route is more to cater to the bus lobby between Hyderabad and Bengaluru

Nice video Sataya Bhai. The route u covered today from KCG to UBL is not covered much by any rail fan. I am from Ballari. Regarding the lake u said which is just beside the platform it was under city corporation maintained but now railways has taken over the development and maintained of the lake. Very recently a selfish point is also opened there. U covered the Ballari fort very well. Few things that are missing were. You did not cover any train crossings between GTL UBL. Trains like Amaravati and Hanpi have crossing. Also u missed to show the largest steel plant in South India JSW at Toranagallu that comes between Ballari and Hosapete. At Hosapete u could have mentioned that Hosaoete is the nearest station if anyone wants to visit Hampi and Lord Hanuman's Borth place Anjandri betta. Once more thing is the route is not just electrified from Hosaoete to Hubbali it us electrified from Guntakal to Hubbali. Hampi and Amaravati express get end yl end Electric locos.

this Area is Famous For The "JSW" Steel Industry I Have No Idea Why you Didn't mentioned About This As Its a 2nd Largest Production Of Steel in India 👍
