I was impressed with the way you have dealt with your shot on the impala. tasteful and the message that we must all learn to be better hunters.

I really appreciate that! Nobody wants to mess up, but I don’t know a hunter who hasn’t. Gotta swallow you pride, learn from it and move on.

My hart dropped when you said it was a through and through gut shot. I know you will hear grief from others but great video and great patience for days in that hot blind. Hats off to you

Glad you enjoy our country. I believe you made some noise, those animals are very very sensitive to noise. On the video when you spooked the Blue Wilde beast one can hear like a dry grass braking or something at 2:58, I think you stepped on a peace of grass :-) Nice video and glad you enjoyed your trip in SA.

Great video and series. We've all made bad shots, I made a bad shot on a hog and feel horrible about it. But it's like you said I've got it stored in my memory and have learned from it. Keep on brother.

it's a shame ... killed animal in arid africa by watering ... hidden in shack ... bite to catch it in the wild but you don't have it

you speak too much that's why you missed a lot of opportunities and ended up injuring that impala .an opportunity present itself to you but you just wait and wait until it is spoiled then you harry and shot on the last minute without proper shot placement. Just use a gun you are not the bow type.

I can explain, take a damn shower. You got winded 3 times in a row. If you don't know your getting winded than your an newbie bowhunter and need to go back and practice on some whitetails

Searching for archery hunting in Africa and I’m only seeing footage of guys with new bows killing animals stepping in feeders under 20 yards away.
I’m sorry, but this is akin to killing an animal in a zoo. Might as well bring it out on a leash, or a cafe and shoot it.
Folks, don’t think this is hunting, it isn’t. It’s totally lame canned, high fence hunting at it’s worst.
Let’s see some spot and stalk African hunting, where the hunters risk becoming the hunted and see what real men and women are made of.
    C’mon, this is just pathetic.

That’s how almost all bow hunting in Africa works buddy, I thought that too when I started to look for places to hunt, it’s different than in the states where you can set tree stands and spot and stalk certain game. In Africa you can’t mange to either get close enough to the game your after or even see it through all the brush. Which is why watering hole and hunting bated areas is the most effective way
