That's actually sick, I've also reshaped my playstyle with Spidey to be more disruptor like rather than trying to assasinate target in the back since its so hard to do that without dying right now, so pulling targets into your team when you have hook then flying around throwing uppercuts to disrupt fights seems more viable. This tech is definitely gonna improve this play style so thanks a lot
You can put a tracer on then right before the E and it would still work, you just have to do it at almost the same time. If you use a normal punch like this you can still do over 300 dmg and it is faster. It would be Right-click + E + Left-click + Right-click + F + L shift+ Right click. I haven't properly checked but I think the enemy only has about half a second during which they can react before dying, once they have already been hit by E
Yeah I did that in my videos 5 days ago but it’s easier to focus on hitting the e since the tracer in this sequence is guaranteed in the same spot so you don’t need to aim and you’d need to still jump anyway to not end the cc of the pull so it holds the whole duration of stun which is what I was missing before when I canceled into lshift tracer. Edit: question when you’re saying left click after the E. Are you staying grounded or still jumping. If so you’d get cc by all of your old counters. You have to break LoS

im pretty sure if your in the air already you can plink and still do an overhead even if you already double jumped but im not sure if it works with both types of plinks or only one
@@TeCeeBoiyou don't need to Plink, if you do it with a high momentum you'll drag them for a long duration allowing you to setup the overhead into Tracer and then an Uppercut (even if you used the upper earlier). I got examples of it in some of my videos :)

Additional very minor thing, you can cancel the pull in with a webswing, insta cancel into cluster, jump, and your next attack will be a low overhead not sure why you'd wanna cancel the pull but you can

The jump doesn’t cancel the cc. Bonus tip for you as well. If you do it off the bhop it cc’s them a little longer
dont they have enough time to get out cause overhead takes forever to land? wow i've been messing around and thanks to one of your previous videos i've discovered a combo that animation cancels "get over here" pull uppercut animation without F by using Shift into Right click, and also cancel F animation. Doing this provides very fast chip dmg instantly after E dmg animation starts (E still does dmg) before using F. After F we can do the same animation cancel (which is the only way to cancel F animation to instantly do dmg, except team up ability?) with Shift + Right click into another Right click to finish them off ( Left click becomes a slow overhead)
maybe it's a controller thing, but in the video the enemy always stays still to land the overhead, but whenever I try it, it always walks away and the hit misses
Zooko I got a question for you. The more spider-man I play, lab, and watch from your videos and others the more I realize that the E is your real win condition in almost all engagements when used correctly. However I believe there is value in it being a chase as well, considering you don't have to aim and it's locked on. In situations where you pick fights with characters with mobility, I have had plays where I sneak up on Raccoon and I land a tracer, into overheard upper cut, into another tracer before they can dash and as soon as they dash, the E gives me the win condition, especially because I'm able to do more damage through healing considering im able to land two uppercuts in this scenario after chasing with the E. My question is how do you then balance using the E, is this the most important aspect of playing spider-man, or would you recommend just playing it safe and using the E as a pull to ensure positional advantage?
1. Be honest with what you’re able to pull off skill wise. (If you have to use it to secure kills that’s always more important) however, using your bhop is how you should chase targets and hit them with your uppercut. Now if you missed that sequence wait a second then use your E to chase to still win the attempt at trying to chase with bhop. I’ll also use it when someone is trying to hide behind cover or a closed in room. I’ll bhop to where my e can zoom me to them so they can’t escape. So yes there are scenarios where it’s important. I just don’t use it as my go to combo starter zooming to them. I only bhop engage, aerial engage and pull now unless I made 2 misses in movement and need to secure the kill

It's more risky to try land the E and potentially miss and have to wait for the cooldown vs trying to land a regular web shot and potentially miss but still have four more shots to try with. Not the craziest risk by any means since you still have escape options, but you are potentially not able to help your team at the right moment because of the risk. I think if your team is doing a coordinated push all at once, it's better to shoot a web shot first and zip in. If you are just looking for an opening on your own, it's probably better to do the E first and pull the enemy.

Even if you dive behind and dive back into team for pull it’s still safe. There’s no risk. And webs are never something that someone should ever run out of if so. They probably can’t aim. The only risk spider takes is grappling toward his target. Puts him in bad positioning. And puts him in cc range. This doesn’t even use resources like that. At the end of each chain the cooldown is at 4s so i don’t follow what you’re talking about.
1. I did not realize E was only a six second cooldown. That makes the risk smaller than I realized, though I do think that can add up quick if enemies are really squirrelly and you miss your E twice in a row. 2. I think you misunderstood my original comment regarding regular web shots. I was making the point that they are a less risky opener because you have so many that you will probably never run out (and E is guaranteed to land after you land a web shot). In your reply, however, you say no one should ever run out of webs as if that is something we disagree on.
It is good combo but risky. However, it's worth to get enemy out of the point. Edit: Nvm, the jumping over to the other side of the enemy view kinda helps u survive better.

You guys are extremely slow with your tests and think basic tech is ground breaking, I have clips of day one labbin which I shared to discord doing everything in this video. Why would jumping cancel the pull? We already knew it didn't from pulling tanks and sups off map which again is all day one shit. Do you even know about infinite jump yet? Probably not. Didn't mean to hurt your ego but nothing you've posted is ground breaking or new.
Bummer i know for sure you're not the first one to find this because i remember watching someone else do the exact same demonstration on RUclips I didn't save the video because it seemed too niche but i shoulda lol but i do think that hook spider-man is the future EVERYONE complains that Spider-Man gets wrecked by healing, but what if there was no healing? what if you pulled them behind a wall and then you could just unleash a full combo WITH your backline to assist you with extra damage and pocket? it just seems like a much better result with the trade off that GASP you actually have to aim??? lol thanks for popularizing it anyway the og video posters didn't get famous enough so L on them lmao
@@NonJohns I am the first. I watch all the mid guides and mid gameplays. No one is doing this. Not a single soul. Sure people could be doing hook combos I was doing that too day one. But if you stay grounded you die to your counters. So it doesn’t work especially when they have healing being done. And no one has my optimals on spider from the hook leading into Freeforms. Not that it matters but yes hook is undoubtedly the meta way to play spider

Forgive my wallcrawler ignorance but I was messing around in the lab and pull-web at almost the same time followed by punch-web-shorrrrryuken once they’re on you seemed like a hella easy, hella quick combo that kills a 300 healther (plus you could go into more airborne crap from there). Is it escapable or something and that’s why it’s better to incorporate jumps earlier? Genuinely unsure if good or bad. Great guides btw!
You’ll break cc and they’ll counter you and you need to break LoS so no. Do it with the movement I advised. It’s the safest and most optimal path for you to practice that will give you the best results in game

the one disadvantage for this combo is you will need to be grounded, other than that its a pretty dope combo

not sure if this is known yet but you can use the web grapple for the bhop instead of the sticky. i was able to pull enemies over 30m

Don't cancel the pull, you drop the CC's state of it which is super important for your survival! :)

Its a good combo but kind risky, cause u need to hit E and enemies never be immobile like the bots, but its good to test if its viable

web - grab - web - double jump - overhead - uppercut (about 250 dm and I think it's faster)
