@@justsomeguythatisaslime122nah it's just modern day standards lol. OG CoD's were really polished from the beginning of their cycle. We've just gotten used to getting unfinished games and "having no time" as an excuse for it
@@0ubaitor1 1. You can't compare old cods to modern ones cause the engine and coding required is different 2. The devs themselves have been against the BS of releasing a cod every freaking year to the point that sledgehammer already opposed to continue working for activision for the next years after mw3's cycle ends 3. yes it is because they dont get enough time because Activision(a.k.a. XxGreedmaster1xX) knows that the moment in which a cod makes more money its on its release, and after a year it already starts decaying because of the amount of bugs and lack of original content 4. I am 99% sure that you have no idea of truly how long it takes to make a videogame like cod nowadays, so much that they have to grab people from infinity ward or treyarch to come finish developing stuff which also causes their games to be unfinished, AND IT IS ALL BECAUSE OF ACTIVISION'S GREED
The game is not just too slow, its so damn RESTRICTIVE in some cases and the idea of slowing down gunfights by restricting ADS mid-jump to a crawl, *visual recoil* and having the game just overall be 25% slower just killed it for me in typical COD that I was so used to in MW19. The game also felt sluggish like it just didn't feel precise and crisp. It felt like water with someone adding some syrup in there and while the graphics were not bad at all, it didn't have this sharp and crisp look to it. Maybe I'm just an MW19 baby but I didn't play any other COD after BO2 and I was reintroduced to COD when Warzone dropped. That's just my take on it and also, the UI menu is TOTAL GARBAGE and I'm dying on that hill.
This again... Is that your own opinion, or are you parroting the same crap those hack COD streamers whine about on a daily basis? Because it sounds to me like you wouldn't know a good COD if it hit you in the face. The older titles were nothing like these cracked out coke fests. How the hell do you find fun in jumping and sliding around like monkeys on meth?
Na it wasnt slow, its just most players didn't bother to tune their weapons and were running around with slow guns. Dropshotting was also amazing. Its just that bunny hop stuff that got nerfed and still is nerfed in MW3 since CoD devs dont want players jumping around everywhere like its Halo
I didn’t hate MW2. Honestly it’s the first decent call of duty I played in a long long time. MW3 is what hurt the game Hell yeah the menu sucks and orgy of shit
I always thought this game was decent sure it wasnt the best but far from the worst cod game we've gotten. I also never understood the main complaint on how the game didnt have movement when everyone begs for a 1:1 remake of mw2 and black ops 2 and those games didnt have any movement whatsoever. The main issue I 100% agree with is slow content drops along with maps while not as bad as mw2019 they werent really good either only a small few.
I love MW2, better than MW19 and MW3 imo. Probably my favorite COD of the last decade, gunplay is just so enjoyable. I like how COD games each have different TTK and movement styles, since players obviously each prefer different styles
@@ruslanagadzhanyan2753 Other way around. The higher the TTK, the more you have to stay on target and actually aim. So higher TTK is higher skill. Lower TTK means everyone can get a kill even if they can't aim, as long as they have a good position (known as camping).
@@archardor3392 it is a very flawed logic, high and low TTK are not more or less skillful, you need a different skill sets for high TTK games and low TTK games, in high TTK games you need to track well, in low TTK games you need to flick well, saying that one is more skillful than the other is shows lack of understanding in this area. High TTK has a bunch glaring issues, such as it DOES NOT solve camping issues, BO4 has had a camping issues, Gears of War also had plenty of campers, list can go on and on, but high TTK makes a very specific archetype of weapon to be superior, specifically high damage weapons such as shotguns, sniper rifles etc. the rest are simply not viable, meanwhile in low TTK games all guns are more or less viable, also since we started talking about skill, please tell me how can you call it a "skillful game" when it is is forgiving you for making rather serious mistakes, low TTK games don't do that?
Ofc movement, slow gameplay, the fact that getting pre-aimed around EVERY corner, visual recoil... i think thats enough to understand why ppl didnt appreciate thid game st all..
they should have atleast kept shoothouse/shipment rotation, because its just the best cod maps imo, they kind of just removed the rotation, hit us in the knees and left lol@@titusyoung141
There was....many issues i had with MW2. Mostly Game Philosophy/Design I think most of my issues is that IW are so far up their ass when it comes to make good MPs. Issues off the top of my head is.. Wasting 2-3 year Developing an Extraction Shooter to cash in on the success of Tarkov to give up on it on Season 4/5 of MW2. Forcing that design in to the core of EVERYTHING else in MW2 and WZ2.0 From slower Movement. No Ninja Style perks. HC ttk where u die in 2-3 bullets. No Red Dot on mini map. The removal of Reload Canceling for a realistic "Stage Reloads". Overall Slower ADS Speeds and the over reliance of Jumpshotting around Corners. Sliding is practically useless for AGES and still is not good. You can try to play aggressive in a bad/lower KD lobby but once aggressive player retention matchmaking begins people will start "the skill of hearing Footsteps" which isnt a skill. Having Squad style Spawns. And most important, the same and awful map design that reeks MW2019. Theres more but the hard push for IW with their game engine to show off they can do cool gun smoke and show off crazy recoil is cool but limited players on how they went around with building guns and overall playstyle. (This is found with gun attachments being too slow to be worth it or add too much recoil for a very slight speed increase.) Lastly the perk system was awful. The fact you dont have ghost off rip also adds proof that you cant play the game you want to play. Theres also that UAV bug that fucked MP for MONTHS and was never Fixed. Took 4-5 Seasons to make integrated suppressors work with UAVs. If you find the game fun thats great but to me, IN MY OPINION the slow and critical thinking gameplay is boring and not fun when its just "Listen for Footsteps: the video game"
@@ItsMiiUly me personally I don't get killed by corner campers because I actually check corners and yes listening should be a easy habit to learn instead of running around like a mindless training dummy and it's easy to use the paranoia perk if you don't check corners and make sure to check for claymore and bouncing Betty's
@@TheVeryLastMexican I understand that "mindlessly running around" is a braindead playstyle but its the fact that IW has been trying to kill off this playstyle is what made me turned off from this game.
It was hated because people wanted the crackhead movement from mw19 and got forced to slow down which is not bad but well cod players had to find something to cry about
I personally like how the guns feel in mw2 more. They feel a bit more punchy and satisfying. But the movement is bad and the visual recoil is atrocious so 3 is just the better game. Both have bad sbmm but what can you do.
Main reason I play this game is because I don’t have 70 dollars to pay for better movement and more maps DLC, honestly gonna keep playing mw2 till the next game comes out
MW2 went through the same thing as Cold War; got tons of hate but when the games were completed ppl began to realize how good & fun those games were & still are fun. I'm a classic cod player so when it comes to movement I don't like anything too fast, no bunny hopping or slide cancelling. just straight pursuing enemies & getting kills. also the weapon balancing in this game was just pure, really every gun within every class was good, nothing overpowered, and not repeating weapon usage game after game & that's how it's supposed to be. when every gun is good, cod is good.
Tbh Warzone aside, mw2 was an objectively good game. Warzone 2 on the other hand was possibly one of the worst gaming experiences. But even though I did have some fun I don’t know how they fuck up this bad
@@gslwhsywv8942 idk man it's just different for everyone. I'm not a sweaty warzone player, and I'm not a fan of load outs. I sound like someone who doesn't care about winning BR's but I do, just not gonna go extreme measures to do so. Warzone 2 for me changed my experience where I can just drop in, find some ground loot & get straight to killing, and I had so much fun doing just that. In Ashika & Vondel, I can honestly say most of my wins came from me not obtaining load outs. I just wanted to land and have fun with some good weapons.
I actually really liked this game, the movement really reminded me of the og cod and the guns were actually really nice to use and the camos were really nice. The only thing I’d say I didn’t like was the recharge for the perks and the newer maps it had. With that said I still think it’s a solid game
MW3 is what MW2 should have been. Better movement, better gunplay, better guns. I feel like if they made mw2 with mw3 movement, and made the game less broken (like in private matches) it would have been received way better. Also, if they made pubs better. Couldn’t play shipment without someone sitting on a headglitch with a sniper scope on an LMG farming streaks off braindead team mates, then using those streaks to make the game unplayable, cus you’d spawn and die to helicopters n shit.
ha, lobby after lobby kept getting destroyed by cabbage munching no hygiene skinny scrawny sweats who already has the metas doing cdl callouts to their highschool dropout friends. hopped back in Dmz to do some weapon cases, wow it was blissful experience with randoms, apart from the movement being slow and ass and the premades already sitting ontop of hirghrise with snipers and javelins, why on earth did they make zombiesnooze and waste treyarchs time
They need to take away jump accuracy and slide accuracy it’s unrealistic…also make dedicated servers I’m tired of these laggy games I join taking a thousand hits to kill while they kill me with 2 bullets I’m so over this I hope this years call of duty stops that it’s actually running people away it has nothing to do with skill
Been playing it, people love abusing the DBs on most of the maps in free for all LOL. But I have fun playing it once a week. SND is great too. Arms Race also has lobbies which is nice.
#1. Visual recoil #2. No slide-cancel I can only think of two reasons why MWII was bad, but I still LOVE it to this day, mainly since all of the competitive players moved to MWIII and it made it so I was able to have a chance against other players.
Removal of reload canceling, needing a device to activate dead silence, perk system/packages, and last but definitely not least, nerfed movement. If they hadn’t touched any of that, we woulda had mw3 practically last year.
I think MW2 2022 is the best generation of masterpieces that I have done since I came into contact with COD, and MW3 2023 is like a semi-finished product that is in a hurry to be launched!!
I personally enjoyed mw2 really good 3 lane maps, movement was alright, weapons were balanced, and I personally enjoyed the perk system people couldn’t get ghost off rip which was annoying when you would dominate the other team off rip and get a UAV
There's just no way to split the difference on this stuff. There's a big enough divide in the community they just need to make one year's COD movement based with higher TTK for the poggers and the next year's slower with low TTK for casuals.
It’s the cod community cycle. The current game is hated, the new one comes out, then people call the game they hated an “underrated gem”

This was one of my more liked cods. I've always hated movement shooters so the pacing of this one felt VERY close to the OG mw2
It has cross play?
At least in faster time to kill, more guns are usable. Lvling some of the lmgs and assault rifles were awful in mw3
Yeah, with a faster TTK I felt all the guns were more balanced and all around a good customisation
Cod players when game movements is slower on 0.1 second than before:😡🤬
Rdr2 players skinning one out of ten animals with full animation for half a minute:🥳🤩😍
It was hated because you can’t slide cancel
This happens every cod cycle. We shit on the game and then the next year it doesn’t seem that bad. But nah MW3 plays leagues better than mw2 apart from the obvious horrendous issues 😂😅
to be fair, part of that is also because it takes devs until the end of the life cycle to actually get the game in a somewhat polished working state
@@chunkylilpeanutis because activision wants to rush the release of a new cod every year and the devs dont get enough time to polish the game so when the game's cycle ends thats how the game was supposed to release
@@justsomeguythatisaslime122nah it's just modern day standards lol. OG CoD's were really polished from the beginning of their cycle. We've just gotten used to getting unfinished games and "having no time" as an excuse for it
@@0ubaitor1
1. You can't compare old cods to modern ones cause the engine and coding required is different
2. The devs themselves have been against the BS of releasing a cod every freaking year to the point that sledgehammer already opposed to continue working for activision for the next years after mw3's cycle ends
3. yes it is because they dont get enough time because Activision(a.k.a. XxGreedmaster1xX) knows that the moment in which a cod makes more money its on its release, and after a year it already starts decaying because of the amount of bugs and lack of original content
I miss mw2 and warzone 2
me too
me too😔
DMZ still exists, its just in with the warzone which makes no sense because it puts you in a mw2 main menu anyway.
I loved mw2019
@@danjjjatest season 3 will have more stimboost, im calling it now. and is weapon tuning Really the answer to a universal problem?
@@danjjjatest W comment, I love it 💯
Idk I had a lot of fun playing MWII. To be fair I had some good friends to play with and that makes a difference
Man I really hate how the graphics gets worse look at this game and MW3 it looks great compared to the shit we have now.
I didn’t hate MW2. Honestly it’s the first decent call of duty I played in a long long time. MW3 is what hurt the game
Hell yeah the menu sucks and orgy of shit
it was so hated cause the people who relied on movement to get kills couldnt get used to playing a game slower paced for once without crying
Factsss
EXACTLY 💯💯💯
I'm gonna say it again, this is "pure classic cod" which is how it's supposed to be.
Outside the DLC argument, That’s why I never got MW2023, It caters to the try hards / sweats
game was slow
I do like the movement more tbh it’s not so overwhelming when 3 enemies run jump and slide towards u at 50mph and the guns are more realistic looking
Its mostly streamers who complained
Had more fun with this one good times playing this with my work buddies 24 7
I love MW2, better than MW19 and MW3 imo. Probably my favorite COD of the last decade, gunplay is just so enjoyable. I like how COD games each have different TTK and movement styles, since players obviously each prefer different styles
I love how this guy has fun playing games no matter what game it is 😂
maybe as his whole channel depends on cod doing good?
Because he is not that toxic
I still feel sad for MW2, take away the dumb design choices it's probably the most polished, visually appealing and good feeling cod we got in years.
Idk, i think TTK is literally the best part of this game in MW3 it takes FOREVER to kill a guy.
Just say u suck at the game
@@Scroogey_boy haha, said noob, the higher TTK game is for people who don't want to think.
@@ruslanagadzhanyan2753 do it doesn’t
Mw2019 will always stay my fav new mw
Facts they should have just kept updating that one instead of making 2 dog water sequels 😂
they should have atleast kept shoothouse/shipment rotation, because its just the best cod maps imo, they kind of just removed the rotation, hit us in the knees and left lol@@titusyoung141
@@titusyoung141 I Will Say MW3 Is Not That Bad

I haven’t played mw3 season2 at all but I might get back to cod mw2 and 3 now that this video gave me some good motivation
There was....many issues i had with MW2.
Mostly Game Philosophy/Design
I think most of my issues is that IW are so far up their ass when it comes to make good MPs.
Issues off the top of my head is..
Wasting 2-3 year Developing an Extraction Shooter to cash in on the success of Tarkov to give up on it on Season 4/5 of MW2.
Forcing that design in to the core of EVERYTHING else in MW2 and WZ2.0
From slower Movement.
"Listening for footsteps isn't a skill" you know how many times people clutch by listening to footsteps
@@TheVeryLastMexican
Dude is clutching just sitting in a spot waiting for footsteps on a power position skill?
@@ItsMiiUly me personally I don't get killed by corner campers because I actually check corners and yes listening should be a easy habit to learn instead of running around like a mindless training dummy and it's easy to use the paranoia perk if you don't check corners and make sure to check for claymore and bouncing Betty's
@@TheVeryLastMexican
I understand that "mindlessly running around" is a braindead playstyle but its the fact that IW has been trying to kill off this playstyle is what made me turned off from this game.
the fast TTK alone makes it 1000x better and more fun than MW3 .
MW3 is horrible. I have gotten shots on people dead to rights. Since the time to kill is slow the hop into cover.
@@cool_cat007smoove3
Yeah. never bought it. TTK already annoyed me in the beta.
You make any CoD look fun because you play like you’re in the matrix movie dodging bullets
Both have bad sbmm but what can you do.
the game had so much potential
DMZ still exists but they have it listed with the Warzone section now instead of MWII.
I laugh at the fact that most of the people who hated the game didnt even have it or they just complain for the movement
Correct 💯💯😂😂😂
You gotta admit that is the closest to an old school pub match and not a pro league tournament

best cod:bo3's visual ability, mw19's handling, bo2's map, mw22's gun model
Good video as always mate I totally agree regarding the movement keep up the great work
I'm still playing mw2 cuz i aint wasting money on mw3. I would play mw 2019 but probably no one plays it anymore
The mw2 weapons have less visual recoil in mw3 but there is still a lot
True
The movement was the main reason I immediatelly stopped playing after unlocking Orion
Cause adderall addicts can't run jump and eat fent while sliding. That's why it was hated. I personally loved it in season 2 and 1 but 3 was eh.
This game is not old enough to make a "I WENT BACK IN 2024" this October it'll be 2 years old like bro💀
Plays different , but looks better
Main reason I play this game is because I don’t have 70 dollars to pay for better movement and more maps DLC, honestly gonna keep playing mw2 till the next game comes out
its alot better than mw3 runs alot better too - mw2 i get around 120fps, mw3 getting 75 with drops lol
I had more fun with MWII than MW3 because I enjoy a shorter TTK and I didn't mind the movement and the maps were WAY better in MWII.
Well Atleast the mw3 guns are pretty balanced and I like them more bc they feel more unique and I feel like you could pick up any mw3 smg and do good
@@gslwhsywv8942 after the update I strongly agree with the weapon balance; in warzone the ground loot weapons finally hit again
Probably after gulf war comes out people are most likely gonna appreciate how good mw3 is.i feel like we're in a loop
i had way more fun with mw2 than whatever mess mw3 is
im actually for the sweaty ass movement being nerfed and faster ttk in this game
I actually really liked this game, the movement really reminded me of the og cod and the guns were actually really nice to use and the camos were really nice. The only thing I’d say I didn’t like was the recharge for the perks and the newer maps it had. With that said I still think it’s a solid game
The game literally tried to stop you from playing in the beginning, nuff said
MW3 is what MW2 should have been.
DMZ is now in MW3. But with MW2 Mechanics and of course the "Movement". Thats no Joke😂😂
bro i logged into DMZ thinking i was gonna get the mw3 movement and got that shitty ass mw2 movement like man fuck you
ha, lobby after lobby kept getting destroyed by cabbage munching no hygiene skinny scrawny sweats who already has the metas doing cdl callouts to their highschool dropout friends. hopped back in Dmz to do some weapon cases, wow it was blissful experience with randoms, apart from the movement being slow and ass and the premades already sitting ontop of hirghrise with snipers and javelins, why on earth did they make zombiesnooze and waste treyarchs time
Game was so praised at first but they legit did not add what they said they would and just sold it for 70$ a year later
Hellloooo ❤
They need to take away jump accuracy and slide accuracy it’s unrealistic…also make dedicated servers I’m tired of these laggy games I join taking a thousand hits to kill while they kill me with 2 bullets I’m so over this I hope this years call of duty stops that it’s actually running people away it has nothing to do with skill
more ppl need to read this comment 💯
i think the campaign was good but just too stealthy the multiplayer was too crazy
For me
MW2019: great Campaign, great MP
MW2: Good Campaign, bad MP
MW3: WTF Campaign, good MP (maybe Great)
Vanguard in 2024?
Interesting
Been playing it, people love abusing the DBs on most of the maps in free for all LOL. But I have fun playing it once a week. SND is great too. Arms Race also has lobbies which is nice.
Games still shite
Really good actually
I didn’t enjoy it at first but when the improved the movement it became a lot better
Least it was original, I’ll give them that
A big issue was pretty much every major problem people described was presented since launch and all criticism was simply ignored.
i actually preferred mw2 over mw2019
#1. Visual recoil
#2. No slide-cancel
I can only think of two reasons why MWII was bad, but I still LOVE it to this day, mainly since all of the competitive players moved to MWIII and it made it so I was able to have a chance against other players.
Removal of reload canceling, needing a device to activate dead silence, perk system/packages, and last but definitely not least, nerfed movement. If they hadn’t touched any of that, we woulda had mw3 practically last year.
Aside from that the gun play lowkey felt like shit
It's good that you guys don't actually play Military Sim shooters. You guys would be useless to a squad.
@@cool_cat007smoove3 You're beyond stupid.
MW2022 will always have a special place in my heart as it is my first COD
When that doom shotgun came out I knew that would never be a nerf for something so late in the MWII life cycle and it still hasn’t changed
I think MW2 2022 is the best generation of masterpieces that I have done since I came into contact with COD, and MW3 2023 is like a semi-finished product that is in a hurry to be launched!!
I feel the same way
They should make 2 versions of the game. 1 for military simmers. 2 for cartoon military simmers. We all can be happy.
Bro it's one of the best videos on your challel! I laughed my buttocks off🤣
I personally enjoyed mw2 really good 3 lane maps, movement was alright, weapons were balanced, and I personally enjoyed the perk system people couldn’t get ghost off rip which was annoying when you would dominate the other team off rip and get a UAV
This game is just wasted potential. It had everything going for it but the movement held it down so much paired with IW being complete assholes.
There's just no way to split the difference on this stuff. There's a big enough divide in the community they just need to make one year's COD movement based with higher TTK for the poggers and the next year's slower with low TTK for casuals.
Been itching to play a cod game but dont have the opportunity so just been binge watching your videos, very entertaining content 🫶
