    Those threaded lift pads and magnetic pinch weld pads are genius.

    This is a fantastic video. It blows away all others that try to cover this subject! Thank you. I used your links to order the items you mention.

    Your video is the best and your showing of the jack and jack stand points is very very clear and easy to see where to find it on your challenger. I have a 2023 Scat T/A MT6. It would be good to see a video on how to bleed your jack. I have a 2 ton Daytona low profile and bought it from Harbor Freight.

      Thanks! Your Daytona jack is actually made by Snap-On. It's a very good jack!

      @@TrickMasterPCDude, there are no lift pads under my car that came from the factory.
      C'mon now. 🙄

    My front lift pinch point readily accepted the Byenins magnetic slotted pad, but the rear lift pinch point initially did not accept the same magnetic slotted pad. However, I realized that the bottom rocker panel is tighter fitting against the rear jack lifting point compared to the front lifting pinch point. I had to slightly pull away the rocker panel from the rear pinch point to install the Byenins slotted pad. I had also installed all 4 Lift Pad Pros (with no logo) on my 2022 Dodge Challenger RT. It was remarkably easy and quick to do after watching your related video. I was surprised how easy it was to loosen the factory rear jack pads. I used Loctite blue 242 on the lift pad bolts, and I tightened the bolts with my 3/8" drive socket. I could not use my torque wrench since my Husky torque wrench started at 50 foot-pounds. I had to remember to keep the little brass washer on the upper side of the rear plastic panel as I installed the factory bolt through the new rear lift pad, pressed in the plastic panel, and tightened up the lift pad bolt with my 3/8" drive wrench.

    Awesome video, honestly best one across all of youtube, straighforward and clear
    Couple questions as I have a similar setup (daytona HF floor jack + esco low profiles + liftpadpros/ZL1 permanent/temp-pinch weld adapters
    ?have you noticed over repeat jacking that the outer sheet of the pinch weld (two pieces of metal) gets slightly deformed outward; don't get me wrong the whole thing isn't bent and I've always been using the ZL1 temporary pinch weld adapters
    ?is your front Exhaust Pipe/Converter (part 68474162AD), your lowest ground-clearance part? mine are ~4-4.5 inches off the ground
    ?does your frame creak a bit when you jack the front, like you said with the rigidity the rear wheel comes up too a bit...

    • @TrickMasterPC
      @TrickMasterPC  Год назад +1

      The bending can happen if your jack is not able to roll freely/easily. Yes, the lowest point is where the exhaust connects just after the cats. Yes, the vehicle will stress creak if you jack one side too much, you need to jack both sides as evenly as possible. Thanks for the props!

    I'll need to jack up the car via the Frame, as i'm only changing to winter rims. silly me I bought trolley Jack pads but sadly my goof as they don't fit so i'll have to do it via the frame. got a 3 Ton hybrid jack...hope I don't have to run out and get another set of pads....already got my heavy duty Chocks to chock both sides of the opposite wheels.

    Love the video. Super cautious with my 22 SP WideBody and this definitely introduced some must haves on the “mod list”. What rock guards do you have installed? I tried the ZL1 add on deluxe set and they were hardly blocking any of the wheel plus the metal retaining clips were scratching the paint! I appreciate any help in advance!

    My 2016 doesn't fit those pads on the front or back, the plastic rocker panel is in the way and pulling it out enough to accommodate the magnetic pad feels like it's going to break the panel

    Jacked a 2022 challenger front passenger side and the rear tire same side came up with it. Felt funny driving it after it was lowered. Anyone else had this problem?

    • @TrickMasterPC
      @TrickMasterPC  2 месяца назад

      Yeah, the unibody frame is ridged, but it still tweaks, so you have to jack up both sides evenly to prevent frame tweaking. Likely it should settle back out.

    Thanks so much for the video! My rockers are damaged near those pinch weld cutouts and I think it was due to improper floor jack use at the tire shop. I’m taking it to an auto body shop that uses rubber pads on their lifts. Is it possible to lift from those cylindrical things only and not touch the pinch welds at all?

    • @TrickMasterPC
      @TrickMasterPC  7 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, they are lift pads, so you can jack on them and/or put stands under them! Thanks for the good feedback!

    Why not use jack on the lift pad pros, and let it rest on the pinch welds with a saddle-type jackstand?

    • @TrickMasterPC
      @TrickMasterPC  Год назад +1

      Using jack stands on the pinch welds doesn't provide appropriate stability if you're shaking the vehicle around. I just installed a Magnaflow XMod exhaust today and the car was definitely shaking.

    Im not a big fan of the pucks. Ive seen so many mangled up pinch welds that I dont feel like using them on my cars. But I need to do oil changes (I have 4...thats a lot of back and forth just for a 2 post lift)
    The ramp idea thats floating around is also nice, and no risk of frame buckling, but, the car wont be level, nor are the wheels free, so its only for fluid changes etc. These cars clearly were made only for a 2 post lift and not to be jacked up at home. Ive been trying to come up with a way to do this, that is safe and not a total pita.
    Add to this that some cars are delivery miles cars in collections, that cant show the tiniest of scratches, frame, pinchweld etc. The closest Ive come to as ideas are similar to what trucks and buses have. Individual wheel jacks (like the foot jack wheel dollies for locked wheels) but meant to raise the car up higher, and are connected ether 2 or 4 or more at a time (more for trucks and buses with tag axles etc). But thats getting into lift money, though they can be used on any flat surface, even driveway.

    Forgot to add my challenger did not have any lift pads on the rear. Maybe the dealer personnel stole them.

      In my xmod exhaust video you can see the front of the car on stands. While installing the exhaust I had all four wheels off the ground with the car on four stands and used the exact same method described in this jack/stand points video.
